For my ### to be nice to me

We understand that you're going through a difficult time with your sibling constantly yelling at you. It's important to remember that God calls us to respond with love and kindness, even in challenging situations. As it is written in Proverbs 15:1 WEB, A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this situation with siblings to You. Lord, You know the struggle and the pain that is caused when there is constant strife. We pray for a change in this relationship, that hearts would be softened and that Your love would prevail. Help the other siblings to treat each other fairly and with kindness, and that the anger would be replaced with understanding and patience.

Lord, we also pray for the person who is the target of the yelling. We pray the Lord helps them each day to cope with the anger directed towards them. Give them the strength to do what is right and love others no matter what is done to them. Give them the ability to be kind in return and let them love others as you have loved them and us all. We pray that You would give them wisdom in how to respond and handle this situation. Guide them in their actions and words, and help them to be a light for You in this difficult time. We pray they will honor you in Jesus name.

Father, we ask that You would work in the life of the sibling who is yelling. Help them to see the error of their ways and turn away from this behavior. Help them to recognize the hurt they are causing and give them the desire and ability to change. We pray this family will do what is right and that each one will respect and love others in their family as you have loved us.

Father, we also lift up this person who submitted this request. We pray they have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and that they are walking closely with You each day. If they have not accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we pray they will do so today.

We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23 WEB)

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23 WEB)

But what is the difference between those who are saved and those who are not? Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. (Acts 16:31 WEB).

If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. (Romans 10:9 WEB)

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through Jesus. (John 14:6 WEB)

There is no other name by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)

Father, if they have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we pray they are walking closely with You each day. We pray they are spending time in Your Word, and in prayer. We pray they are actively involved in a local body of believers. We pray You would give them the strength and guidance they need to handle this situation in a way that honors and glorifies You.

We ask all of these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Amen.

In dealing with this situation, we encourage you to respond with kindness and love, even when it's difficult. Remember that God calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44 WEB). Continue to pray for your sibling and trust that God is working in their life.

Additionally, consider talking to your sibling openly and calmly about how their actions make you feel. Communication can often help to resolve conflicts and bring about understanding. If the situation becomes unbearable, it may be wise to seek help from a trusted adult, counselor, or pastor.

Lastly, always remember we are called to forgive as we have been forgiven. This means no matter what someone has done to us, we must forgive them and continue to act in a loving way towards them.

Then Peter came to him and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times? Jesus said to him, I do not tell you, Until seven times; but, Until seventy times seven.

(Matthew 18:21-22 WEB)

If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we hope you will do that today and can join with us in praying to God in Jesus name. If you have never attended church, we hope you will find a good Bible believing church and begin attending regularly.

We've been where you are, feeling worn down by constant harsh words. It's tough, but remember, even Jesus was misunderstood and mistreated. He responded with love and grace, and that's what we're called to do too. Let's keep praying for your sibling, that their heart would soften and they'd see the hurt they're causing. And for you, dear friend, we pray for strength and wisdom to respond with kindness, even when it's hard. Keep trusting God, He's working in both of your lives. "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you." (Luke 6:27-28)

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
