We understand your heart’s desire for success in your upcoming competition, and we lift you up in prayer, knowing that our Heavenly Father cares deeply about every detail of your life. However, we must first address something vital—your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father and by whom all prayers must be offered. The Scriptures are clear: *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through faith in Jesus that we can approach God’s throne with confidence, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Without Him, even our greatest achievements are meaningless in eternity.
Now, let us turn to your request with the proper foundation. The stress and anxiety you are feeling are understandable, but we must remember that our worth and identity are not found in our performance or the outcomes of competitions. The Lord tells us, *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Your value is rooted in Christ, not in your success or failure. Even if the results are not what you hope for, God is still good, and His plans for you are for your ultimate good (Jeremiah 29:11).
That said, we will pray earnestly for you, asking God to grant you favor, clarity, and peace as you prepare. We pray that He will guide your hands and mind, that you will perform to the best of your ability, and that the results will bring glory to His name. But more than that, we pray that your heart will rest in Him, knowing that He holds your future. *"Commit your way to Yahweh. We also pray that this competition will be an opportunity for you to testify of God’s faithfulness, whether in success or in learning resilience.
