For My Son, Chance

My 14 year old son Chance was diagnosed with schizophrenia and autism at the age of six. We have had a long hard fight. Now that he is going through puberty the hallucinations have become worse and occuring more often. They are horrible attacks that make him scream, yell, and hit himself to state that he wants to die. Just last week he had an episode at an outing with the school where he attacked the teacher and threatend to run into traffic.

He is a very big teenager, 6'3 and 200 lbs. When he has these problems he is like trying to tackle a charging bull.

He has been taking heavy doses of anti-psychotics since he very young and the doctor states that now because of hormonal changes his medications are not as effective.

I have been a Christian all of my life and trust in God with all my heart and soul. I have taught my son to love God as well. I pray that God will hear our prayers and help my son and the doctors to find the best treatment for him to

make him able to function in life.

He is the sweetest boy. Because of his autism he is a very simple honest person. He even finds it extremely hard to play a funny joke on anyone and lying is out of the question. Please pray for him. As a mother I feel so helpless and I want more than anything to let him enjoy his life. Thank you

Jesus said in Matthew 17;20-21 If we had the faith of a grain of a mustard seed and say unto this mountain(your son's Illness)Remove hence to yonder place;remove it shall for nothing shall be impossible unto you.(21)Howbeit this kind goeth out but by prayer and fasting. Sometimes we ask God for a miracle and are not doing what he commanded us to do. He said all things are possible unto you if you would pray and fast. Pray and fasting goes hand in hand and to have a miracle in our lives both are required for this to happen. Great faith plus a miracle equals a healing
