We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in this difficult time. Father God, we know that You see all things and that Your justice is perfect. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, that the truth would be revealed, and that any false accusations would be brought to light. We pray for wisdom for those in authority, that they would act with discernment and fairness. Lord, if ### is innocent of this charge, we ask for his swift release. If there is any wrongdoing on his part, we pray that he would come to a place of repentance and that Your grace would cover him.
We are reminded of Your word in Proverbs 21:15, "It is joy to the righteous to do justice; but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity." Lord, we pray that justice would prevail in this situation. We also recall 1 Peter 5:7, which tells us to cast all our anxieties on You because You care for us. We lift up ###’s family as well, asking for Your peace and comfort to surround them during this time of uncertainty.
Father, we also pray for ###’s heart. If he has been associating with those who do not honor You, we ask that You would break those ties and draw him closer to You. Surround him with godly influences and give him wisdom in his friendships. We pray that he would seek Your will in all things and that he would come to know You more deeply through this trial.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or despair that may be trying to take hold of ### or his family. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your promise in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who is our advocate and defender. We trust in Your sovereignty, Lord, and we ask that Your will be done in ###’s life. Amen.
