For my son ### behaviour in school ###

Disciple of Prayer
Pls pray for my younger son ### grade 8 that he behaves him self and respect the teahers in class,to be disciplined

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son in prayer. It is clear that you love him deeply and desire for him to walk in wisdom, respect, and self-control. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We know that raising children in today’s world is not easy, and we stand with you in seeking God’s guidance and strength for your son.

Father God, we ask that You would work in the heart of this young man. Soften his spirit to receive instruction and correction with humility. Give him a heart that honors authority, as Your Word commands in Romans 13:1-2, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment." Lord, help him to see that respecting his teachers is not just a rule to follow, but a reflection of his obedience to You.

We also pray for discipline to take root in his life. Proverbs 13:24 says, "One who spares the rod hates his son, but one who loves him is careful to discipline him." Father, we ask that You would give his parents the wisdom to guide him with both love and firmness, so that he may grow in maturity and self-control. Surround him with godly influences, friends, mentors, and teachers, who will encourage him to walk in righteousness.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of rebellion or defiance that may be at work in his heart. We declare that he is called to be a light in his school, not a source of disruption. Fill him with Your peace, Your wisdom, and a desire to please You in all that he does. Help him to see the value in obedience, not just to his parents and teachers, but to You above all.

We also lift up his parents in this season. Parenting is a sacred responsibility, and we ask that You would give them patience, discernment, and the strength to stand firm in their role as shepherds of his heart. May they lead by example, showing him what it means to walk in integrity and godliness.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. We believe that as this young man seeks to honor You, You will bless him with wisdom, favor, and a heart that desires to do what is right. May he grow into a young man of character, strength, and faith, bringing glory to Your name in all that he does. Amen.

We hear the weight in your words as you ask prayer for your son’s behavior at school. It’s a tender, sometimes wearying place to be, wanting so much for him to walk in respect and self-discipline, yet facing days that feel like setbacks. Many eighth-grade boys hit a season of testing limits and pushing back against authority; it doesn’t mean you’ve done something wrong or that his heart is unreachable. Often the behavior signals something deeper, feeling overwhelmed, trying to find his footing, or just not yet seeing the why behind the rules. You’re not alone in this, and neither is he.

When things are calm, not in the middle of a hard report, sitting down just to listen can do a quiet kind of good. Ask him what’s really going on at school, what feels hard, what feels unfair, without jumping in to correct. Sometimes being truly heard lowers the temperature of rebellion. Then together you can talk about what respect looks like in real moments and maybe settle on one small, clear goal he agrees to try. Stay in gentle partnership with his teachers so you’re all pulling in the same direction. Your steady love and fair, firm boundaries are a powerful anchor, even on days it doesn’t seem that way.

Lord, we lift this mother and her son to You. Give her wisdom beyond her own strength, and show her glimpses of the good You’re working in him right now. Soften her son’s heart toward his teachers; help him grow in real respect, not just outward compliance, but something honest inside. Surround him with patient instructors who see his potential. Make their home a place of grace and clear guidance, and bring the change that only You can weave into a young man’s life. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The anxious heart of a parent cries out for a son whose steps have wandered from the path of order and respect. Yet do not imagine that this trial has escaped the wise appointment of your heavenly Father. If this earth were all, the teachers at school might suffice, but the Lord has a higher lesson in view. He is drawing you, through this very concern, to the throne of grace, and He is teaching your boy in the rough-and-ready school of experience. God’s own children have to go to school, and they are not often good judges of what is best for themselves. That restless spirit in the classroom may, in the Lord’s hands, become the very material out of which He fashions a disciplined follower of Christ. The rod of chastening is still in the hand of the Great Teacher, but it is wielded not in wrath, but in the tender love of a Father who corrects every son He receives.

Lay hold of this promise: the discipline of Grace has a wonderful training power. The same Grace that brings salvation has appeared, teaching us to deny ungodliness and worldly passions. Your prayer is the cry of faith, asking that this Grace might lay hold upon your son’s heart, turning defiance into deference and restlessness into a quiet spirit. The Word of God is our school-book, and even for a lad in the eighth grade, its precepts can become a lamp to his feet. Urge him to look to the Son of God, who lived and loved and died that the ungodly might be saved. There is no surer remedy for a rebellious will than a sight of the Savior, who, though He sat amid the choirs of angels, came down to teach us to do God’s will. As you plead for your son, do not only seek the restraint of his outward conduct; ask most of all for his conversion. For when a sinner is turned from the error of his ways, there is a harvest reaped that makes the labourers forget their weariness, and there is music in heaven such as no festival on earth can match.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The disorderly conduct of a child is a grief to a parent’s heart, yet do not despair. The root of such misbehavior lies not only in youthful folly but often in a lack of firm training at home. You have not asked merely for a change in his outward actions but for discipline to take hold of his soul. That is a wise prayer, for discipline is the foundation of every virtue.

Remember that as a parent you stand in the place of a teacher, and a teacher must never waver or speak in doubt. Declare plainly what is right, with the boldness of one who knows the truth. Do not merely command respect; first show respect to him, as the Lord commanded, so that your own conduct becomes a blessing upon your household. When you honor his teachers, he will learn to honor them. If he sees you humble before what is good and upright, he will learn that he cannot be overbearing with those who instruct him.

Pray without ceasing, and do not be troubled if progress is slow. Just as the blessed Paul called Timothy his own son in the faith, showing that likeness comes through shared belief and patient training, so you must labor to forge such a likeness between your own faith and your son’s heart. Paul invoked mercy upon Timothy because teachers need mercy above all. So now, bring your son before God, seeking not punishment but healing. The Lord pursues us when we stray, yet He does not forsake us; He smites down our pride, but He does not destroy. Trust in that mercy, and let your son see in you a pattern of firm love that does not delight in his faults but in his correction, so that he may one day stand with boldness before Christ.

I know the ache of a parent’s heart when a child struggles with behavior and respect, especially during those middle school years. The very fact that you are bringing this need for prayer shows a deep love and a desire for what is best for your son. That love mirrors something of the Father’s own heart toward us, even when we are wayward.

There is a story from the Old Testament about a king whose son openly rebelled against him. Despite the son’s attempt to seize the throne and destroy his father, the king never stopped loving him. In the end, when that son died, the king wept uncontrollably and cried out, “O my son, my son.” That father’s love never failed. Yet that same king was, by his own admission, a poor disciplinarian, and his household suffered greatly for it. The lack of consistent correction brought calamity upon his children. One of his other sons later wrote extensively to his own children, urging them again and again, “My son, hear the instruction of your father and forsake not the law of your mother.” He understood that true love must include training and boundaries.

This is not to heap guilt on you but to remind you that God Himself models perfect fatherhood. Scripture tells us that the Lord corrects every son whom He receives. Chastening is not a sign of rejection; it is proof of belonging. If God allows consequences and teaches hard lessons, it is because He loves us too much to let us continue in what will harm us. You can take comfort knowing that your concern for your son’s discipline is a reflection of divine concern.

It is also worth remembering that we are all sons, not in the same way Jesus is the unique eternal Son, but we have been adopted into God’s family through Christ. The Spirit in our hearts cries out, “Abba, Father.” This means we can come boldly with requests like yours, asking our Father to shape the heart of a young man who needs to learn respect and self-control. I will join you in praying that your son will be inclined to wisdom, that his ears will be open to instruction, and that he will regard his teachers with honor. May the Lord grant you wisdom, patience, and a steady hand, and may your son discover that walking in obedience is the path of true freedom and blessing.
