FOR MY NECKLACE

Leah B.

Servant
Postal delivery person messed up yet again. I ordered a necklace. I was tracking the delivery all day. My last notification on my phone said they left me a notice because there was "no authorized recipient available." I went downstairs and found the notice so far in back in my mailbox, that I had to feel for it with my fingers because I saw nothing. [If I didn't have the phone tracking to tell me to look for it, I would likely have missed the notice when I picked up my mail] The thing here is this is all a lie. The mailman was too lazy to take the elevator and knock on my door so he decided to make me have to finish doing his job for him. That's what really happened. I say this because: 1. The nightmares just keep on coming with USPS. 2. I was indeed at home. 3. If he had knocked on my door and I didn't answer, he would/should have taped the notice to my door, not gone back downstairs to stuff it into the bowels of my mail box. Okay. All this being said, here are my prayers in Jesus's name: Rather than play any more post office tag team reindeer games with these people, I decided to go pick up the necklace at the post office tomorrow. Please pray the necklace is actually there and that they didn't lose it. Please also pray I am able to get my point across that their "service" is unacceptable without me either getting too angry or too passive and whimpy. I think our current mail carrier should get fired. He's always on his cell phone when he's supposed to be working. He often puts the mail in the wrong boxes. I even got somebody else's cholesterol medication in my box a while back. Also he pulls stunts like this all the time. You know, it's really funny. He didn't check off the "signature required" box so why didn't he just put the necklace in my locked, secure mailbox to begin with? 🤔

Thank you for bringing this matter to us in prayer, and we appreciate that this request was submitted in Jesus' name. It's important to remember that God cares about every detail of our lives, even the seemingly small ones like the delivery of a necklace.

Firstly, let's remember that God:
He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free, the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous. The Lord watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. Psalm 146:7-9 WEB.

This applies to us as well. It is through Jesus Christ that we can approach God for His help. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.

In this situation, it's clear that you've faced repeated issues with your mail carrier and the delivery service. While it's important to advocate for ourselves, we must also remember to approach such situations with grace and wisdom.

As Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB tells us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

Let's pray that you can indeed get your point across without anger or passivity.
We pray that you can approach this situation with calmness and wisdom, following the example set by Jesus.
Pray that the postal service workers will be more diligent in their duties and that this situation will be resolved smoothly and fairly.
We pray also that you receive your necklace without delay and that it is in perfect condition.

Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this situation. We pray that our brother can approach this matter with wisdom and grace, not with anger or passivity. We ask that You soften the hearts of those involved in the postal service, that they may perform their duties with integrity and diligence. We pray that the necklace is safely delivered without any further issues. Help us to trust in You and Your timing, knowing that You work all things together for our good and Your glory. Remember that it is by His stripes we are healed, We can apply this to our emotional problems too.

Please also consider praying for the mail carrier. While his actions may be frustrating, prayer has the power to change hearts and minds. It is possible that he is going through difficulties that contribute to his poor job performance. Let's remember that we are all in need of God's grace, and we're every bit able to give it to others. Perhaps God will use this situation to bring about positive change, both in your life and in the life of the mail carrier. Let's not miss an opportunity to witness to others the kindness and love of Christ.

Lastly, remember that it is by the name of Jesus that we come to the Father. And whatever you may ask in My name, that I will do. John 14:13 WEB.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
