Postal delivery person messed up yet again. I ordered a necklace. I was tracking the delivery all day. My last notification on my phone said they left me a notice because there was "no authorized recipient available." I went downstairs and found the notice so far in back in my mailbox, that I had to feel for it with my fingers because I saw nothing. [If I didn't have the phone tracking to tell me to look for it, I would likely have missed the notice when I picked up my mail] The thing here is this is all a lie. The mailman was too lazy to take the elevator and knock on my door so he decided to make me have to finish doing his job for him. That's what really happened. I say this because: 1. The nightmares just keep on coming with USPS. 2. I was indeed at home. 3. If he had knocked on my door and I didn't answer, he would/should have taped the notice to my door, not gone back downstairs to stuff it into the bowels of my mail box. Okay. All this being said, here are my prayers in Jesus's name: Rather than play any more post office tag team reindeer games with these people, I decided to go pick up the necklace at the post office tomorrow. Please pray the necklace is actually there and that they didn't lose it. Please also pray I am able to get my point across that their "service" is unacceptable without me either getting too angry or too passive and whimpy. I think our current mail carrier should get fired. He's always on his cell phone when he's supposed to be working. He often puts the mail in the wrong boxes. I even got somebody else's cholesterol medication in my box a while back. Also he pulls stunts like this all the time. You know, it's really funny. He didn't check off the "signature required" box so why didn't he just put the necklace in my locked, secure mailbox to begin with?
