Lord,
I am in a true battle against good and evil. Kevin is fighting a dual battle within his mind and heart. He often seems to want to do what is right only to be snatched back into his old behavior under the influence of Stephanie. My daughter says that she "holds her father hostage". (I suspect that they may have been involved in some illegal activity together and she is holding that over his head.) Lord, I beg of You loosen the ties that Stephanie has over Kevin. Banish the hold she has over his life. Guide her to let him go and return to his family.
My child is paying a high price menatlly and emotionally for the disruption that my husband has caused our family. I pray for her restoration emotionally, mentally, spiritually and in all ways possible.
I lift Kevin up to You in prayer. Lord, Please, please make him realize that what he does to me, he does to our child. I am her mother. To disrespect me is to direspect her too. Open his mind, open his heart, give my daughter the right words to speak to convict his heart of the wrong-doings that he and Stephanie have engaged in.....
During this time that our daughter is spending with me, and Kevin is free from that responsibility, may You work a miracle in his life and open his eyes to what really matters. Lord I pray that he finds no satisfaction in any activities that go against the restoration of his marriage , the family that he created in the name of God and his relationship with You. May You work a miracle in Kevin‘s life as in Jude 1:23 “and some save, snatching them out of the fire.”
I believe in miracles. I believe that you are working on a miracle in my life too. I know that somehow you will banish the legal motions and the workings of the courts and the lawyers and the judges that have created a wall between me and my husband. I am in a bad situation Lord. I have no real resources and no home to call my own. I want to return to the home and relationship that I built with my husband.
Bind and cast away the enemy that has come between husband and wife. Let their plans and schemes fail. Kevin shall not find satisfaction or happiness until he returns to me and the family that he created in Your name when he took his vows in church before You, Lord.
Bless Kevin with the strength and courage to do what is right to mend his family and restore father, mother and child under one roof to create a home full of love and joy and respect for God.
I bind Kevin’s mind to the mind of Christ. I bind Kevin’s will and desire to God’s will and purpose for his life. I bind Kevin to the family that he created in the name of God when he made his vows in church in front of our families, friends and God himself.
May You soften my husband’s heart and bring him to a renewed love for me. I pray that my husband feels an overwhelming desire to renew our marriage.
It is my family, written in my heart. I just refuse to give up on them. I refuse to let them go. My child will grow up in the admonition of the Lord. Out of the abundance of my heart, my mouth speaks it....it is written....
I claim Your promise in Acts 16:31 for myself and my family:
"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved---you and your household.
AMEN
