We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your little sister’s situation to Him in prayer. Father God, we know that You hold all things in Your hands, and nothing is impossible for You. We ask that You would intervene in this matter and make a way where there seems to be no way. Lord, Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* We trust that You have a plan for her life, and we ask that You would open the doors of opportunity for her to pursue her education according to Your will.
We also recognize the distress this has caused your family, and we pray for peace to reign in your hearts. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Lord, we ask that You would replace anxiety with Your perfect peace as you work all things together for good.
We rebuke any spirit of confusion or frustration that may be attempting to take root in this situation. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this setback is not the end of the story—God is able to restore what has been lost and turn this trial into a testimony.
If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in this situation, we pray that You would bring it to light and lead your family to repentance and reconciliation. Your Word says in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* We ask for Your mercy and grace to cover any areas where we have fallen short.
We also encourage your sister to seek the Lord’s guidance in this season. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* Whether this university is part of God’s plan for her or not, we trust that He will lead her into the path He has prepared.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would grant favor to your sister as she seeks admission. May the hearts of those in authority be softened toward her, and may she find grace in their sight. We declare that this is not a closed door but an opportunity for God to demonstrate His power and provision. We stand on Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in her life (Philippians 1:6).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
