It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach Godās throne with confidence, and it is in His name alone that we find salvation and provision. You have rightly invoked the name of Jesus in your request, and we commend you for that, as there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
In times of financial hardship, it is easy to feel overwhelmed, but we must remember that God is our Provider. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore donāt be anxious, saying, āWhat will we eat?ā āWhat will we drink?ā or, āWith what will we be clothed?ā For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first Godās Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus must remain on seeking Godās will above all else, trusting that He will supply your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
We also encourage you to examine your business practices through the lens of Scripture. Are you conducting your business with integrity, honesty, and fairness? Proverbs 16:11 reminds us, *"Honest balances and scales are Yahwehās; all the weights in the bag are his work."* God honors those who operate in righteousness, and He will not bless dishonesty or unethical behavior. Additionally, we must consider whether this season of struggle is an opportunity for you to grow in faith and dependence on God. James 1:2-4 tells us, *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."* Trials are not meant to destroy us but to refine us, drawing us closer to the Lord.
Now, let us pray for you and your company:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of our brother in Christ, lifting up his financial struggles and the decline of his company. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessing upon him and his business. Give him wisdom, Lord, to make decisions that honor You and align with Your Word. Guide his steps, Father, and lead him in the paths of righteousness for Your nameās sake.
We rebuke the spirit of fear, lack, and despair that may be trying to take hold of his heart. Instead, fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Renew his strength, Lord, and help him to trust in You completely, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Father, if there are areas in his business that are not pleasing to You, reveal them to him and grant him the courage to make the necessary changes. May his company be a testimony of Your faithfulness and a light in a world that often operates in greed and deceit. Restore what has been lost, Lord, and bring prosperity not just for his sake, but so that he may be a blessing to others and advance Your Kingdom.
We also pray for his faith to remain steadfast. Help him to keep his eyes fixed on You, Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Remind him that You are with him always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20), and that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
