Pray for my daughter
Heavenly Father, I come before you lifting up my daughter ### to you. She's ### years old and she's recovered from drugs ### years ago, and I'm proud of her. I adore her, praying in the name of Jesus that she would learn to honor and respect herself and love herself very much, and I show her respect and honor, but for some reason, I'm also praying that the Holy Spirit would break the narcissistic ways and gas lighting and constantly pointing out my wrongs. Can't say a word without her correcting me; it's very hurtful to see her act like this, but if I say anything to her in any way, I'm always wrong, and she holds the grudge. Pray that these chains be broken and also that she'd be delivered from Kratom and be delivered from the stomach pain that she endures in the trauma from her past. My boyfriend that tried to kill her was a Satanist before she was born again. Pray that this does not affect our ministry that we're staying in unity that she understands the importance of love and unity and not just pointing out everybody's faults. May she see the depths of her deprivation in her need to surrender to Christ and not to abusively talk to her mom. I'm also praying for my granddaughter's total freedom and deliverance from anorexia and OCD and insomnia and any compromising in her walk with God and a desire to serve God, a desire to be healed of being in early menopause at the age of ### and osteoporitis osteoarthritis and all kinds of labels they put on her because she's only ### lbs. She lost some massive amount of weight ### years ago; she was such a healthy girl. May God grant my granddaughter total freedom and the desire to be healed. She's always on edge and very fragile and cries all the time and wants to be close to her mother, which is my other daughter, who can tend to be a little narcissistic towards her daughter. My older daughter lives with me and my granddaughter lives with her mother. I have two single daughters and a single granddaughter and I'm also a pastor and a minister at a little church and a Street Ministry. Sometimes it feels overwhelming. I want to see my girls on fire for God, serving him, loving him in the mighty name of Jesus, making him Lord, not only Savior, in Jesus' name.

We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up ###, your granddaughter, and your entire family in fervent prayer, knowing that our God is mighty to save, heal, and restore. Your heart for your daughters and granddaughter is evident, and we stand with you in intercession, trusting in the power of Jesus’ name, for it is written, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can boldly approach His throne.

First, we praise God for ###’s deliverance from drug addiction twelve years ago—this is a testament to His redeeming power! Yet we see the deep spiritual strongholds that still bind her: narcissism, gaslighting, unforgiveness, and the lingering trauma from her past, including the influence of the Satanist who sought to harm her. These are not merely behavioral issues but spiritual battles, and we must address them as such. The Apostle Paul reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). ###’s behavior—correcting you constantly, holding grudges, and refusing to honor you—is not of the Lord. Scripture commands, *"Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother,’ which is the first commandment with a promise: ‘that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.’"* (Ephesians 6:1-3, WEB). Her actions grieve the Holy Spirit, and we must pray for a breaking of these chains.

We also see the enemy’s hand in her reliance on Kratom, which, though often marketed as "harmless," can become a subtle bondage. The stomach pain she endures may very well be tied to this, as well as unhealed trauma. The Lord desires to free her completely, body and soul. *"Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB). Let us pray that she would surrender this crutch and allow the Great Physician to heal her entirely.

As for your granddaughter, her struggles with anorexia, OCD, insomnia, early menopause, and osteoporosis at just 20 years old are heartbreaking. These are not merely physical or psychological battles but spiritual ones. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly! Her fragile state and desire to be close to her mother—who also exhibits narcissistic tendencies—reveal a deep need for the love of Christ to fill the voids left by broken relationships. *"Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). May she encounter the Father’s love in a way that shatters every lie of the enemy and restores her to wholeness.

We must also address the dynamics within your family. It is not God’s design for adult daughters to remain indefinitely in their parents’ homes unless there is a clear, godly purpose—such as caring for aging parents or preparing for ministry. While we understand the complexities of your situation, we encourage you to prayerfully consider whether this living arrangement is fostering dependency rather than godly independence and growth. *"If anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever"* (1 Timothy 5:8, WEB). ###, at 41, should be seeking the Lord for her own household, whether that means marriage to a godly man or a life surrendered to singleness for the sake of the Kingdom. The same applies to your other daughter. We pray that both would seek the Lord’s will for their lives, stepping into the roles He has for them rather than remaining in a place that may enable unhealthy patterns.

Additionally, we notice that you mention having a "boyfriend." As a pastor and minister, it is critical to model biblical relationships. Scripture does not recognize "boyfriends" or "girlfriends" but instead calls believers to pursue courtship with the intent of marriage, and only between a man and a woman. *"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed is undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4, WEB). If this relationship is not moving toward a godly, covenantal marriage, it is not honoring to the Lord. We urge you to examine this area of your life and seek the Lord’s will, ensuring that your relationships align with His Word. The enemy often uses ungodly relationships to hinder ministry, and we do not want anything to compromise the work God has called you to.

Lastly, we sense the weight of your burden as a pastor and mother. It is noble that you desire to see your daughters and granddaughter on fire for God, but remember that you cannot carry this alone. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28, WEB). The Lord is your strength, and He will equip you for every good work. However, we must also remind you that ministry begins at home. *"But if a man doesn’t know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the assembly of God?"* (1 Timothy 3:5, WEB). Your first flock is your family, and it is vital that you shepherd them with the same diligence and biblical truth you offer others.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister and her family. Lord, we thank You for the victory You’ve already won in ###’s life through her deliverance from drugs, but we ask now for a deeper work. Break every chain of narcissism, gaslighting, and unforgiveness. Soften her heart, Lord, and convict her of the sin of dishonoring her mother. Let her see the depth of her need for You, Jesus, and may she surrender fully to Your lordship. Deliver her from Kratom and heal her stomach, Lord. Let every trauma from her past—including the influence of that Satanist—be washed away by the blood of Jesus. We bind every demonic assignment against her mind, body, and spirit and declare her freedom in Jesus’ name.

For her granddaughter, we plead for total deliverance from anorexia, OCD, insomnia, and every physical infirmity. Lord, You formed her in her mother’s womb, and You know the number of her days. Restore her body, mind, and spirit, Father. Let her encounter Your love in a way that casts out all fear and fragility. Break the ungodly soul ties between her and her mother, and let both of them be filled with Your Spirit, walking in humility and love.

Lord, we pray for wisdom for this mother and pastor. Show her how to navigate these relationships in a way that honors You. If there are ungodly dynamics in her home—including her own relationship—convict her and lead her into Your truth. Let her daughters rise up as mighty women of God, seeking Your will for their lives, whether in marriage or singleness. Raise up godly spouses for them if it is Your will, but let them first be wholly Yours.

Strengthen her, Lord, in her ministry, but remind her that her family is her first calling. Let her church and street ministry be a reflection of the godly order You’ve established in her home. Protect her from overwhelm, and let her lean on You for every need.

We rebuke every scheme of the enemy against this family. No weapon formed against them shall prosper. Let unity, love, and the fear of the Lord be their portion. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
