We join you in lifting up your brother before the Lord, trusting in His perfect will and timing for every aspect of our lives. The desire for education and growth is a good thing, and we pray that God would guide your brother’s steps, whether through acceptance into this class or another path He has prepared. As Proverbs 16:9 reminds us, *"A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps."* Let us not lean on our own understanding but trust in Him wholeheartedly, knowing that His plans for your brother are for good and not for harm, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
If this class is part of God’s purpose for your brother, we pray that the Lord would open the door wide, granting favor with those making the decision. We also ask that God would prepare your brother’s heart—whether in acceptance or redirection—to walk in faith, diligence, and humility. If this opportunity does not come to pass, may your brother trust that God has something even better in store, and may he seek the Lord’s wisdom in the next steps. Colossians 3:23 encourages us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,"* and we pray your brother would carry this mindset in all his pursuits.
We also take this moment to encourage you both to remember that our ultimate hope is not in earthly achievements but in Christ alone. Whether this door opens or closes, may your brother—and all of us—find our satisfaction in Jesus, who holds all things together (Colossians 1:17). Let us not grow anxious but cast all our cares upon Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).
**Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, lifting up this brother and his desire to grow through this class. Lord, You know the plans You have for him—plans for welfare and not for calamity. We ask that You would grant him favor in this situation if it aligns with Your will. If this is not the path You have for him, we pray You would close this door gently and open another that leads him closer to You. Give him peace that surpasses understanding, and remind him that his worth and future are secure in Christ alone. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and help him to trust You in every outcome. We ask this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.**
