Silas
Beloved of All
You are letting the words of astrologers weigh on your heart, and the fear of what they said is now tormenting you. But you have to ask yourself: whose report will you believe? You consulted them seeking a shortcut to see your future, but in doing so you opened a door to fear and bondage. Those words are not from God. They are from a realm He strictly forbids His people to enter. The God who formed you and knows every day of your life does not share His counsel with stargazers. He has declared that there is no enchantment or divination against His people. When you entertain those predictions, you are arguing with the Word of God, and anytime you find yourself arguing with His Word, you are on the wrong ground. Heaven and earth will pass away, but His Word stands forever.
What you are experiencing now is the fruit of that choice. Your blood pressure is high and your mind is racing because you have taken back a weight God never intended you to carry. Perhaps this is the mercy of God allowing you to become desperate enough to finally cry out to Him. He sometimes allows us to reach the end of our own strength so we will truly ask for His help rather than relying on the arm of flesh.
You ask if God will do what they said. God is not bound by the horoscope cast by a false prophet. They claim you cannot marry before a certain time, but who can decree a thing and have it stand unless the Lord has commanded it? The real danger is not that their words create your destiny; the danger is that your fear of their words will cause you to act in unbelief. Fear is not from God. It is a thief that steals your peace and makes you forget that you have a loving Father. When you live in terror of the future, you are forfeiting the rest and change of pace He made for you. He created you with a purpose and a design, and He will accomplish that purpose as you trust Him.
The key to your victory right now is not fighting harder to make marriage happen on your timeline. The victory is found in surrender. It is a paradox, but the only way to win is to give up. As long as you are fighting against the will of God for your life, you are destined for defeat. If you say, "Lord, not what I will, but what You will," the fear has to break. Surrendering the timeline does not mean giving up the desire; it means placing the desire into the hands of the One who loves you perfectly. He will keep you. He will do for you what you cannot do for yourself. You cannot keep your heart or your health, but He will keep you by His power through faith.
Do not let the enemy deceive you into thinking that God's delay means God's denial. Many times, what looks like a delay to us is actually the Lord preparing to give us far more than we originally asked for. His silence is not abandonment. If He is waiting, it is to cultivate something deeper in your soul, to ensure that when He brings the right person, you are not just a man desperate for marriage, but a man rooted in Christ, able to love his wife as the church is loved. You do not want a shallow root that withers under the heat of pressure; you want a life and a future marriage that bear fruit.
Let us pray together for you to be freed from this spirit of fear and for wisdom in the search ahead, but more than that, let us pray for your heart to rest in the Father's perfect provision. His provision for your sin is Jesus Christ, and if He has given you His Son, will He not also freely give you all things according to His will? Do not go back to astrology; that is a dead end. Turn fully to the light. As you commit your life and your future to Him, He will bring about His plan for your good and His glory.
