We hear your deep longing for marriage and your fear that past words from astrologers may hold power over your future. First, we must rebuke the deception you encountered. Astrology is forbidden in Scripture, for it places trust in created things rather than the Creator. The Bible warns, "There shall not be found with you anyone who... practices divination, or a soothsayer, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB). Those words from astrologers were lies from the enemy, meant to steal your peace and delay God’s blessings in your life.
You need not fear that God will withhold a godly spouse from you. The Lord delights in fulfilling the desires of those who walk in His ways. Psalm 37:4 (WEB) says, "Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Marriage is a good and holy gift from God, and it is not His will for you to remain single if that is your desire. However, we must encourage you to seek a spouse who loves the Lord above all else. Do not rush into a union out of fear or loneliness, but trust God’s timing and His choice for you. Proverbs 19:14 (WEB) reminds us, "House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh."
We also want to gently address the state of your heart. Your high blood pressure and anxiety are not from the Lord. Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB) instructs, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." You must release this fear to God and trust that He is in control. The enemy wants you to believe that your future is determined by fate or the words of men, but God’s Word declares that He has plans for you, plans for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We lift up our brother to You, knowing that You see his heart and his desire for a godly marriage. Lord, we rebuke every lie of the enemy that has tried to steal his peace and plant fear in his heart. We break the power of those words spoken by astrologers, for they have no authority over Your child. Your Word says that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We declare that fear has no place in his life.
Father, we ask that You would bring the right woman into his life at the perfect time. Prepare her heart even now to be a godly wife, one who loves You and will walk in step with him. Give him wisdom and discernment as he seeks a spouse, and guard his heart from rushing into anything out of fear or impatience. Lord, we also pray for his health. Calm his anxious heart and lower his blood pressure. Fill him with Your peace that surpasss all understanding.
We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. You are not a God of delay, but a God who delights in blessing Your children. We trust that You will fulfill Your promises in his life. Help him to wait on You with hope and expectation, knowing that those who seek You lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10 WEB).
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Surround yourself with godly counsel and community who can support you in this season. Remember, God’s timing is perfect, and He will not withhold any good thing from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11 WEB). Trust in Him, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5 WEB). He is faithful, and He will lead you into the future He has prepared for you.
