Beloved Warrior
Lord, You gave Doug a huge mountain with steep terrain. On either side are pitfalls and stumbling blocks. There is a path up to the top. I ask you not to move the mountain but to help Doug make it to the top! Help him to stay focused so he doesn't loose his footing. I pray for his protection. May you place an invisable shield on either side of the path, a shield that the enemy sees clearly and stands back from. May this shield be made up of your mercy and grace, of your total love for your servant, Doug. He is trying so hard and the path is so very steep. Help him one step at a time to keep going. He will have to rest on the way but I ask that you renew his strength and keep him on track. He has 40 days to make it to the top. He faces different obstacles at different elevations but YOU are there. I ask for your hand upon him to lead, guide and direct him. He must stop and sleep and I pray you would heal him from the insomnia he encounters every day. I pray he could win this battle and that you would set him free. I plead your blood over him. I ask for your spiritual hand to show him revelations and visions that are meant just for his knowledge and his purpose. I ask that you show him anything in his life that separates you from him, any sin that he needs to confess and be forgiven for. Lord, I pray your hand over his anger. I come up against the spirit of anger. I rebuke you. You are now powerless over Doug's life. I bind you. I place a chain around you that can not be opened except by my savior, Jesus. I cast you into the sea. Lord, Replace the anger with peace, sweet, sweet peace! Let Doug feel the joy in his heart that comes from serving you. Be with his praise and worship team. Let there be unity. Let them be of one mind and one accord. May your will be done.
