We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious niece in prayer. Father God, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon her—mind, body, and spirit. The sudden change in her behavior, the tears without reason, the anger and irritability, and the loss of appetite are all signs that something is deeply troubling her. We ask You, Lord, to calm her heart, soothe her emotions, and restore the peace and joy she once knew. Bring clarity to her parents and caregivers so they may understand what is weighing on her and how best to help her.
Scripture tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Lord, we claim this promise over your niece. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind. Replace her anxiety, frustration, and sadness with Your perfect peace.
We also recognize the role that screen time may be playing in her emotional state. The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 6:12, *"All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything."* While phones and screens are not inherently sinful, they can become a source of bondage, overstimulation, and emotional distress, especially for young ones. We pray that her parents would have wisdom to set healthy boundaries, not out of punishment, but out of love and protection. Help them to model self-control and to fill her time with activities that nourish her soul—play, creativity, and time in Your Word and prayer.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety, fear, or unrest that may be affecting her. We declare that she is a child of God, created for Your purpose, and we speak life and healing over her. In James 4:7, we are reminded, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We resist any influence that is not of You, Lord, and we command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
We also pray for her parents and caregivers, who are exhausted and weary. Lord, give them strength, wisdom, and patience. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Help them to lean on You and to trust that You are working even in the midst of this trial. Surround them with a community of believers who can offer support, encouragement, and practical help.
Finally, we ask that You would draw this little one—and her entire family—to Yourself. If they do not yet know You as Lord and Savior, reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Let them experience Your love, grace, and salvation. For it is only in You, Jesus, that we find true healing, peace, and restoration. We pray all these things in Your holy and precious name, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
