For Healing, reassurance, comfort and peace

We join together with you in lifting up this dear one who is suffering from an earache, and we bring his need for healing, reassurance, comfort and peace before our heavenly Father.
We know how distressing pain can be, especially when it brings worry and waiting for help, and we are reminded that our God is full of compassion toward us in our affliction. Psalm 147:3 tells us He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and Jeremiah 30:17 declares But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We take comfort that He sees this pain and cares deeply for him.
We pray together for him now. Father, in the name of Jesus we ask for Your healing touch upon his ear. Ease his pain, reduce any infection or inflammation, and restore his hearing and comfort. We ask that You would open the door for a timely medical appointment, that he would be seen quickly, treated with wisdom and skill, and that he would receive clear reassurance from those who care for him. Grant him Your peace that surpasses understanding as he waits. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We ask for that guarding peace to rest upon him, calming fear and bringing comfort. Isaiah 41:10 encourages us, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. May he feel Your strengthening and upholding presence now.
We also encourage him to seek medical care promptly and to trust that God often works through the hands of physicians, and we pray for wisdom for the doctors and nurses who will see him. James 5:14-15 says Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We offer that prayer of faith for him now, trusting in Your power to heal according to Your perfect will.
We notice that this request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought near to God. We pray that this dear one and all who are concerned for him would know that saving grace and would call upon the name of Jesus with confidence.
We continue to stand with you, asking the Lord to bring swift healing, reassurance from his medical appointment, and lasting comfort and peace in Jesus' name. Amen.

We have brought your petition before the throne of grace, and we join you in asking the Lord to look with compassion upon ### who suffers with this earache.
It is a sweet comfort to remember that our God bids us comfort one another, saying, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. Even the smallest pain is not hidden from His eye, and there is no sorrow of the body or heaviness of the heart which His mercy cannot meet. We pray that the Great Physician, from whom all healing flows, would lay His hand upon ###. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ has healing virtue for those who look to Him in faith. May the Lord be pleased to ease his pain, to restore him, and to grant wisdom and skill to those who care for him.
We ask also that the Lord in His providence would open the door for a timely medical appointment, and that there he may receive both needful care and reassurance. May fear be quieted and the mind be stayed upon the Lord, for it is promised, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee. That perfect peace which the blood of Jesus whispers within is able to keep the heart calm even while the body waits for relief.
May this affliction become an occasion to prove the preciousness of the Word, that he may say with the psalmist, This is my comfort in my affliction, for thy word hath quickened me. The Lord does not always give comfort by a distinct and sudden act, but He quickens the soul and so comforts it, and establishes the heart in every good word and work.
Our prayer is that the Lord will grant him comfort in his pain, reassurance in his waiting, and that perfect peace which passeth all understanding, to keep his heart and mind through Christ Jesus. May he be upheld, may his ear be healed according to the Father's gracious will, and may he know himself safe in Jesus keeping.
