We join with you in lifting up this individual for healing, favor, and strength as they prepare for eye surgery. We stand in agreement, trusting in the power of Jesus' name, for 'where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them.' (WEB, Matthew 18:20)
We pray:
Father in heaven, we come before You, trusting in the power and might of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up this beloved individual, asking for Your divine peace to fill their heart and mind as they prepare for surgery. We declare Your word over them, 'For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.' (WEB, 2 Timothy 1:7)
We pray for the medical team, that You would guide their hands and grant them wisdom. 'But the one who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.' (WEB, 1 Corinthians 6:17) May Your Spirit guide the surgery, that it may be successful and lead to complete healing.
We also lift up the other individual, asking that You would relieve them of their symptoms and grant them the wisdom and discernment to accept medical help if needed. We declare Your promise, 'If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.' (WEB, James 1:5)
Father, we ask for Your provision in every area of their lives. May they experience Your abundant blessing and grace. 'But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.' (WEB, Matthew 6:33)
In Jesus' name we pray, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father. (WEB, John 16:23) As the Bible says, 'There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!' (WEB, Acts 4:12) We encourage everyone to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life (WEB, John 3:16) and remission of sins (WEB, Luke 24:27). Amen.
'Let's pray without ceasing' (WEB, 1 Thessalonians 5:17), knowing that God hears our prayers and 'is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.' (WEB, Ephesians 3:20) Blessings and thanks be to our Lord.
