We have heard your request for healing and strength and we join together with you in seeking the Lord for renewed energy and vitality in Jesus' name.

We understand how discouraging it can feel when your body feels lazy and sleepy, with no energy to do the work set before you, and you are unsure if it is the hot weather or something else causing this fatigue and low mood. We want to encourage you that God sees your desire to be active and diligent and to faithfully complete your pending works.

Scripture reminds us that our strength ultimately comes from Him. Isaiah 40:29 says He gives power to the faint and to him who has no might he increases strength. And Isaiah 40:31 promises that those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint. We also remember Philippians 4:13 which says we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, and Psalm 103:2-3 which says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases.

We also want to gently encourage you to be a good steward of the body God has given you, for 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 teaches that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God. You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. In practical terms this means caring for your body with adequate rest, drinking enough water especially in hot weather, eating nourishing food, getting gentle exercise and fresh air when possible, and keeping a regular sleep pattern. If this fatigue and sleepiness continues, we encourage you to seek wise medical counsel as well, for God often brings healing through doctors and proper care. Spiritually, we encourage you to continue to do all your work heartily as unto the Lord, as Colossians 3:23 teaches, asking Him to help you overcome both physical tiredness and heaviness of mood with diligence and joy.

We now pray together for you.

Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You know the weariness and fatigue being felt, the sleepiness and lack of energy and the discouragement that comes with it. We ask for Your healing touch upon this body and mind. Renew strength, restore energy, lift this low mood, and bring refreshing and vitality. Help to discern if there is a physical cause that needs attention and give wisdom to care for this body well. Give grace to stay active and energetic for Your glory and to faithfully complete the pending works with a willing and joyful heart. Let Your peace and joy fill this heart and let Your strength be made perfect in weakness. We thank You that You are our helper and our healer and we trust You to restore and sustain. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We hear how discouraging this tiredness has been for you. Feeling sleepy and low on energy day after day makes even simple tasks feel heavy, and we understand how much you want to feel active and energetic again and get to the work waiting for you. When you are not sure why it is happening, and the hot weather may be adding to it, it can be even more frustrating.

We are praying for strength for your body and steadiness for your mood, and for wisdom as you seek answers. Because this fatigue has lingered, we gently encourage you to let a doctor or clinic know what you have been experiencing, alongside our prayers. A caring professional can listen, check what might be going on, and walk with you toward next steps.

In the meantime it can help to let one trusted person nearby know how you have been feeling, so you are not carrying this alone and someone can encourage you as you take things one day at a time.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You see this tiredness and the desire to live actively for You. Please bring renewed strength, clear guidance for care, and peace in body and mind. Give rest when needed and energy for each day's work as You provide. Amen.

Your request for healing and strength has been heard and we join with you in prayer before the throne of grace. You describe a heaviness of body, a sleepy mood and fatigue that keeps you from the work set before you, whether from the heat or other causes unknown, and a sincere desire to be active and energetic again to do what is needful.

Scripture reminds us that all human strength is derived strength and therefore must spend itself and fail. Even the young and vigorous grow weary, for apart from God there is no true strength at all. But the promise stands sure, They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. When our own might is gone He increases strength to those who have no might, and He Himself says, I will strengthen them in the Lord. The glory of our strength lies not in ourselves but in God alone, who wisely and fitly imparts what we need for each day. It is not to our credit to remain weak when such strength is offered, for to be strengthened with strength in the Lord is of all things most desirable.

There is abundant healing virtue in Christ, whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing flow together from His hand. The least thing about Christ is healing, and those healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature fresh again. To wait upon Him is not to strive in our own power but to sit still before Him in faith, trusting His grace to restore both body and spirit. As you wait, He will renew your strength like the eagle's, that you may rise to do the work He has given you with renewed energy for His glory.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Author of all being and Giver of all strength, look with compassion upon this one who comes to Thee in weariness. Thou knowest the languor and fatigue that weighs down the body and the desire to be active and faithful in daily duties. Lay Thy healing hand upon this Thy servant and let the virtue of Christ, the true healing tree, bring freshness and vigor. Renew strength in waiting, revive the spirit, and strengthen in the Lord, that there may be power to fulfill pending labors with diligence and joy. Teach a quiet trust in Thy daily mercy, that when flesh fails Thou wilt be the arm every morning and salvation in time of trouble. Grant sleep that restores, energy that endures, and a heart that finds its glory in Thee alone. All this we ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our strength and our salvation. Amen.
