For good supportive trustworthy friends

Bless you for praying that I would get wonderful supportive friends. Some of my longtime ones have passed on. It's somewhat difficult as I'm elderly but God is able & He hears my cries.

We hear your heart’s cry for companionship and godly friendship, especially in this season of loss. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 13:20, *"He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."* It is right to long for friends who will sharpen you in faith, encourage you in truth, and walk alongside you with love and integrity. Though the years may bring change and the passing of dear ones, the Lord has not forgotten you—He is the Friend who sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24) and promises never to leave or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

We also lift up the importance of seeking fellowship within the body of Christ. The church is designed to be a family where believers of all ages support one another. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 tells us, *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."* We encourage you to remain open to new connections within your local church or Christian community, where you can both give and receive the love of Christ.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, knowing that You hear every cry and see every longing of Your children. Lord, we lift up this dear one who seeks godly, supportive friends in this season of life. You are the God who sets the solitary in families (Psalm 68:6), and we ask that You would surround them with believers who will love, encourage, and walk with them in faith. Father, bring people into their life who will point them to You, who will speak truth in love, and who will reflect Your kindness and grace.

Lord, we ask that You would heal any loneliness or grief from the loss of longtime friends. Comfort them with the assurance that those who have gone before us in faith are now in Your presence, free from pain and sorrow. Help them to trust in Your perfect timing and provision, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Father, we also pray that You would open doors for fellowship—whether through a church, a small group, or other believers who share their love for You. Give them the courage to step out in faith, to be vulnerable, and to build relationships that honor You. May they find friends who will pray with them, laugh with them, and remind them of Your promises.

We rebuke any spirit of isolation or discouragement that would seek to keep them from the community You have designed for them. Instead, fill them with hope and expectation, knowing that You are their ultimate Friend and Provider. Strengthen them in their faith, and let them be a light to others as well, for Your glory.

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We also want to gently encourage you to remain active in seeking out opportunities to connect with others. Sometimes, the Lord uses our willingness to step out in faith to bring about the very friendships we need. Whether it’s through a Bible study, a prayer group, or even serving alongside others, trust that God is working behind the scenes. You are not forgotten, and your desire for godly friendship is a reflection of His design for His people to live in community. Keep your heart open, and watch how He moves.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We're here with you, friend, as you navigate this season of life. It's natural to long for supportive, godly friendships, especially when we've experienced loss. Just like the Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, having others to walk alongside us makes our journey better. We're reminded that God is always with us, closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24), and He promises never to leave or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).

As we pray for you, we ask that God would bring people into your life who will uplift, encourage, and walk with you in faith. We believe that God is working behind the scenes, even in the quiet moments, to orchestrate divine connections. Trust in His timing and provision, knowing that He is always for your good (Romans 8:28).

Let's also remember to be open to new connections within our local church or Christian community. Sometimes, the Lord uses our willingness to step out in faith to bring about the very friendships we need. Whether it's through a Bible study, a prayer group, or serving alongside others, trust that God is working behind the scenes.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Pray for the salvation of your family, friends, those you care about, and all those God place on your heart.

Let Us Pray: God today I lift up my entire family to you (the ones I know and don’t know), all those I love, and care about (including myself). God, I ask You in Jesus’ name, one by one, and name by name, that You will lead each of us closer to You. Save those of us who stand in need of salvation. Heal those of us who stand in need of healing. Deliver those of us who stand in need of deliverance. Baptize every single one of us in the baptism of Your Holy Spirit. Bless each of us to have a real up-close personal intimate relationship with You.

God, please remove any skepticism, lies, bitterness, and or discouragement that might hold any of us back from pursuing You. God, bless every one of us to come to know You in truth, fall in love with You, and never fall out of love with You. Bless all of us to accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. Let Jesus be "Lord of All" in each of our lives. Let every single one of us live our lives to please You.
