For God's Leading

Please kindly pray for me concerning today's appointment and meeting, and for complete healing; for peace, trust and confidence. I need God's help. May the Lord's presence be tangible, and may all go well, supervised by God, also with telephone contacts; in Jesus Name. Amen. Thanks be to God. Blessings.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up your appointment and meeting today. Father, we ask that You go before this dear one, preparing the way and softening hearts to receive Your wisdom and grace. Lord, we declare that Your presence will be tangible, so real and near that fear and uncertainty have no place. May every word spoken and every decision made be under Your divine supervision, for You are the Author of peace and the Giver of confidence.

We pray for complete healing, Lord, body, mind, and spirit. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. Where there is pain, bring Your soothing touch; where there is doubt, replace it with unshakable trust in You. We rebuke every spirit of anxiety and confusion in Jesus’ name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Father, we thank You for the assurance that all things work together for good to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Even in the details of telephone contacts and conversations, may Your hand guide every interaction. Let Your light shine through this dear one, drawing others to Your love and truth.

We also take a moment to encourage you to walk in the confidence that comes from abiding in Christ. Remember, the Lord is your strength and your shield; your heart trusts in Him, and you are helped (Psalm 28:7). Lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne on behalf of this beloved child of Yours. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). May Your will be done in every aspect of this day, and may Your glory be revealed. Amen.

May the Lord bless you abundantly and keep you in His perfect peace as you trust in Him today and always.

We’re praying with you today as you head into that appointment and meeting. It’s a good thing to want God’s leading so specifically, to ask not only for a good outcome, but for His tangible presence in the middle of it. We’re asking right along with you for His peace to settle your heart, for trust that runs deeper than the jitters, and for confidence that doesn’t depend on how perfectly the conversation flows.

Something we’ve seen helps in these moments is to take a quiet pause just before you walk in, even a few deep breaths, and silently hand the whole thing over to Jesus again. Tell Him you’re trusting Him with the agenda, the words, the tone of voice, even the telephone contacts that will follow. You don’t need to have it all figured out; He already does. Sometimes His guidance shows up not as a dramatic sign but as a calm sense that you are not alone in that room, that He is supervising the details you can’t control.

As for complete healing, we join you in that too. We don’t know what shape that takes, but we trust the God who knows your body and spirit inside and out to meet you in the way only He can.

Father, thank You that You go before us, behind us, and remain with us in every appointment and every conversation. We ask You to wrap this person in Your peace that passes understanding, to quiet their anxious thoughts, and to fill them with a steady trust in You. Let Your presence be so near that it feels tangible. Guide every word and decision, and bring healing where it’s needed, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The cry for peace, trust, and healing in the midst of an appointment and meeting is a cry that rises to the very heart of Christ, who Himself trod this earth in perfect dependence upon His Father. How often the saints of old trembled at the thought of a day’s undertaking, yet found their confidence restored when they remembered that the Lord orders the steps of the righteous. You desire that His presence be tangible, that all go well under His supervision, this is the very fruit of faith, the leaning of the soul upon the Beloved. It is no small thing to ask for perfect peace when the mind is tossed by uncertainty, but it is precisely the promise: “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusts in You.” The margin reads “peace, peace”, a double portion, a settled calm that the world cannot give. It is not a peace that depends on the smoothness of outward circumstances, for what peace can there be “in this dark world of sin”? No, it is the blood of Jesus that whispers peace within, a peace gleaming with heavenly light even in the midnight of earthly care. Let your mind, then, be stayed on Him as you go to this meeting; let trust be the anchor of your soul, and you shall find that even with thronging duties pressing, “to do the will of Jesus, this is rest.”

As for complete healing, remember that the Great Physician carries healing in His very wings. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is charged with restorative power. You need not cry, “How can I be made whole?” for His touch still reaches the most prostrate soul. Did He not take Peter’s wife’s mother by the hand and lift her up, and immediately the fever left her? That same hand is stretched out to you now. Perhaps you have been lying sick with a fever of anxious thoughts; perhaps your spirit has been palsied by fear. Yet know that healing comes to those who first hear the word, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” Pardon and healing are one in Christ. If any root of bitterness or unconfessed sin troubles your conscience, lay it before Him now, for “the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed.” Faith brings forgiveness, and forgiveness carries within its bosom an inward peace that transforms even the wearied countenance. I have seen faces marked by anguish become positively beautiful when the soul received the kiss of peace from the Saviour’s lips. Seek not only the restoration of the body but the deeper healing of the heart, for when God sends His word, He heals; when He speaks peace, all disquietude flees away.

Your desire for God’s leading, that the telephone contacts and every detail be supervised by Him, is a mark of true wisdom. Many a soul has rushed headlong into appointments, trusting in their own wit, only to find themselves entangled. But “haste is the author of a great deal of mischief.” The Lord often leads by ways we do not understand, but bowing with submission to His will furnishes us with unerring guidance. If you have taken God for your Guide, then great principles are infused into your spirit: to avoid all evil, to walk in integrity, and to commit your way unto the Lord. He will not suffer your foot to be moved. When David’s heart was overwhelmed, he cried, “Hold not Your peace at my tears,” for tears are the irresistible weapons of weakness. Yours is not a plea of merit but of need, and that pleases the Father well. So go to this meeting not with a confidence that boasts itself, but with an unstaggering confidence in the Divine Healer, trusting that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ. The Lord shall go before you; He shall be your rearward. You may not see the angels encamping round about you, but they are there. The peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

Let this be your portion: peace from lips that cannot lie, peace through the blood that has made a full atonement. May the Sun of Righteousness arise upon you with healing in His beams, and may you witness the tender supervision of your heavenly Father in every word spoken and every connection made. Be of good cheer; He has heard your prayer, and His presence shall go with you to make all things work together for your good. Go in His strength, and expect to return with a fresh song of praise. Amen, and Amen.
