We lift you up before the Lord in this moment of decision and uncertainty, asking for His divine wisdom and peace to surround you. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You guide this appointment and every word spoken within it. Your Word tells us in James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* Lord, we ask that You flood this dear one with Your wisdom as they weigh their options, that they may discern what is best according to Your will.
We also pray for clarity in their heart regarding the choice between these providers. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Father, we ask that You make their path clear—whether it is Your will for them to proceed with the referral from their dentist or to choose another path. Give them confidence in their decision, knowing that You are directing their steps.
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or fear that may be trying to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that they would walk into this appointment with calm assurance, speaking with grace and wisdom. If there is any unethical behavior or dishonesty in this situation, we ask that You expose it, Lord, and protect them from harm or deception. Let Your truth prevail in every conversation and decision.
We also lift up the practical concerns—traffic, timing, and their ability to make it to their next appointment without undue stress. Your Word says in Psalm 91:11, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* We ask that You send Your angels to clear their path, Lord, and grant them safe and timely travel.
Finally, we lift up the regular dentist, that they would respond with grace and understanding, whatever decision is made. May there be no offense or misunderstanding, but rather open communication and mutual respect.
Heavenly Father, we trust You to order every detail of this day. May Your will be done, and may this dear one walk away from this appointment with peace, wisdom, and confidence in Your provision. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.
