We hear your cry for help, and our hearts are heavy with the weight of your struggle. Financial hardship is a heavy burden to bear, and we want you to know that you are not alone. The Lord sees your need and cares deeply for you. In Psalm 34:18-19, it says, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Even in this season of lack, God is near, and He is your provider.
We must also remind you that our trust must be in the Lord, not in wealth or material possessions. Jesus Himself warned in Matthew 6:19-21, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."* While we pray for your physical needs to be met, we also pray that your heart remains fixed on the eternal, not the temporary.
Let us come before the Lord together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one before You, who is facing deep financial hardship. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessing upon them. Meet every need according to Your riches in glory, Father. Give them wisdom to steward what You provide, and help them to trust in You rather than in uncertain riches.
We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in the name of Jesus, for You came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this season of struggle will not define them, but that You will use it to draw them closer to You. Provide opportunities, open doors, and surround them with godly people who can offer support and encouragement.
Father, we also ask that You guard their heart from bitterness, fear, or despair. Let them find their security in You alone. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). We pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, if there are areas where they have placed their hope in anything other than You, reveal it to them. Help them to surrender all to You, for You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One through whom we have access to You. Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. In Philippians 4:19, it says, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not a vague hope—it is a sure promise from the One who cannot lie. Seek Him first, and He will take care of the rest.
If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is a free gift, not earned by works, but received by faith. Without Jesus, we have no access to the Father, and our prayers go unheard. If you would like to surrender your life to Christ, we would be honored to pray with you and guide you in this decision. There is no greater need than the salvation of your soul.
