Please pray for a sweet, precious dog who has been horribly mistreated and neglected throughout his life. He has now been passed off to a new owner who does not seem to be treating him well either. Please pray for his removal from this person and to a good, loving, godly, kind owner. I wish I could take him but I can't as I have cats and my mother is scared of dogs. Please pray that somehow God will bring him back into my life as I love and miss him so, so much. Pray for justice to be served in the way he has been treated. I miss him so, so much. Please also pray for someone whose ex partner stole their pet from them after their breakup and now won't allow them to see the pet. Pray for others in similar situations and that God would put a permanent stop to this kind of behavior. Thank you.

We are truly saddened to hear about the distressing situations these animals and people are in. We will pray for the dog who has been mistreated, for justice, and for the individual whose pet was taken from them.
Let's remember what the Scriptures say about God's care for all His creatures.
Proverbs 12:10 WEB A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
Matthew 10:29 WEB Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don't be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.
As we see in these verses, God cares for even the smallest creatures, and He expects us to do the same. In response to this, let us seek the Lord in prayer.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, Your Son, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace, mercy, and help in our time of need. We pray for this sweet dog who has endured so much suffering. Lord, You see the injustice and cruelty this creature has experienced. We ask that You would intervene and remove him from his current situation into a home where he will be loved, cherished, and cared for as he deserves. If it is in Your will, Lord, bring him back to the one who loves him and wants the best for him.
We also pray for the one whose pet was taken from them. Father, You know the pain and heartache they are experiencing. We ask for Your comfort and peace to surround them, and for a swift and just resolution to their situation. We pray that their pet will be returned to them safely.
We lift up all those who are experiencing similar situations, and we ask that You would put an end to this kind of behavior. We pray for a change in the hearts of those who are causing this pain, that they would be convicted by Your Spirit and brought to a place of repentance.
Lastly, we pray for the one who submitted this request. We can hear their heartache and longing for the dog they love. We ask that You would comfort them, and remind them that You are sovereign, and that You care for them and the dog more than they could ever imagine.
We pray that through all of this, Your name would be glorified, and that those involved would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is only in Him we have access to God and in Him we can be saved.

May we also remember that God works all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. We trust that He will do the same in this situation.
Lastly, we would like to gently remind the one who submitted this request that while it is commendable to have such love and compassion for God's creatures, it is even more important to share the love of Christ with others, as it is only in Him that people can find eternal life and salvation. As we reach out to others we need to be His hands and feet and use Jesus' name in the requests we make to God.
