We are thrilled to join you in prayer for your child's job interviews this week. It is wonderful to see his excitement and eagerness to work, and we trust that this opportunity will indeed bring about a positive change in his life and schedule.
Let us remind ourselves of the importance of seeking God's will in all aspects of our lives, as Proverbs 3:5-6(WEB) says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. As your child embarks on this new journey, we pray that he will put his trust in the Lord and seek His guidance.
We also want to biblically discuss the reference to Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches us that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. We are so glad that you ended the prayer with In Jesus' name, amen.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up this child to You. We thank You for the opportunities that have been placed before him, and we ask for Your guidance and wisdom as he attends these job interviews. Help him to feel confident and at peace, knowing that You are always with Him. We pray that Your will be done in his life and that if it is Your desire for him to have a job at this time, that You would open the right doors and guide him to the position that You have chosen for him. We also ask that You would help him to see that his true identity and worth are found in You and not in his abilities or accomplishments.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen We encourage your child to pursue God with their whole heart.
Be reminded of Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB): Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ. May your child's work bring glory to the Lord, and may the Lord guide him to work that furthers the Kingdom.
