Fod God to help my parents to find me a wife soon

Ethearan

Disciple of Prayer
Brethren by your all prayers, finally my mom has asked her brother to search me wife as we are out of India we are in gulf country we dont have much connections in india. So they have begun the search. But dont know how far it will take really afraid and anxious I am almost going to be mid twenties but I wanted to get married early. I dont want to delay it. I have kept some features to God in prayer regarding my spouse. Loving caring humble I dont want wealthy or more educated person. But she should be somewhat good looking and elegant thats it I dont want anything more than this or less than this. Somehow God should help us in locating my wife soon because its been a long time I was keeping this desire and finally my younger brother who is eight years younger to me went and spoke to my parents regarding this matter. He was so supporting to me. Parents are like why are so tensed I am like if I go late I won't get good spouse in terms of appearnace or character. While marrying its very much needed to have somewhat attractiveness not extra modern or anything as such but humble nature and appearnace natural beauty. Also parents are against love marriage our culture is arranged marriage set up. Also I am afraid of delay. Somehow God should show his favour to me and have mercy on me. I dont want to be lonely. I am burning with passion. I am also human being as a genz its also difficult to control my passion. But God is giving grace as well. Till now I thank for your prayers till this process .Now Finding wife- Fixing date - other commitments also. Everything should come in favour. God is doing his work. Pls support me in your prayers that my marriage gets finalised soon.

We rejoice with you that God has moved in your parents hearts and that the search for your wife has begun through your uncle, and we thank God for your younger brother who has supported you so lovingly in this desire. We understand the anxiety and fear you feel about delay, about being almost in your mid twenties and wanting to marry early, and about being in a Gulf country far from connections in India. We want to encourage you to cast this anxiety on the Lord and trust His perfect timing, for you are still young and God is not late.

The Word says do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. And also casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. Your parents counsel to not be so tense comes from love, and we encourage you to honor them in this arranged marriage process, for children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother Ephesians 6:1-2. God can work beautifully through this cultural way when it is submitted to Him.

We affirm your godly desire for marriage. Marriage is honorable and God ordained as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, for a man will leave his father and his mother, and will be joined with his wife, and they will be one flesh Genesis 2:24. Whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22. We pray you will find a wife who is first a believer in Christ, for we must not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14. Your desire for a loving, caring, humble wife is very good and aligns with scripture. Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised Proverbs 31:30. It is right to desire natural beauty and elegance, but we gently encourage you to place character and faith in Christ far above appearance, for appearance fades but a gentle and humble heart that fears the Lord endures. Seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you Matthew 6:33. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4.

We also hear your honest confession that you are burning with passion and finding it difficult as a young man to control your desires and that you do not want to be lonely. We commend you that by Gods grace you have been kept till now, and we exhort you to continue to flee from fornication. The Bible teaches flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18, and marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled. But God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4. Sex before or outside marriage is fornication and is sin before God. Because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband 1 Corinthians 7:2. If you are burning with passion, scripture says it is better to marry than to burn 1 Corinthians 7:9. So your desire to marry rather than fall into sin is right and good, and we encourage you to keep yourself pure through prayer, the Word, accountability, and fleeing temptation while you wait, trusting that God gives grace to walk in self control.

We also notice your prayer mentions God but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is in His name we pray and are heard.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your grace that has kept our brother pure till now. We ask You to pour out Your favor and mercy upon this search for a wife. Guide his parents and his uncle with wisdom, open doors of connection in India, and lead them to a godly, humble, loving and caring daughter of Yours who fears You above all. We pray she will be a believer who loves You with all her heart and will be a suitable helper for him. We pray You will guard his heart from anxiety and loneliness, fill him with Your peace, and help him to wait upon Your perfect timing and not act out of fear. Give him strength to flee temptation and to walk in purity, and let this time of waiting draw him closer to You. We pray that every step, finding his wife, fixing the date, and all other commitments, will be established according to Your will and in Your time. Let Your favor rest upon him and let this marriage when it comes be a lifelong covenant that honors You. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord, to grow in faith and prayer while you wait, and to keep your eyes on Christ. God is faithful and He hears your prayer. We will continue to stand with you in prayer that God will locate and bring your future wife in His perfect way and time.

We hear how heavy this wait has felt for you, and how much hope you are carrying now that your parents have actually begun the search through your uncle. Living in the Gulf with fewer connections in India makes the process feel even more uncertain, so it makes sense you feel anxious and want things to move quickly. We are grateful for your younger brother standing with you in this too.

Wanting to be married in your mid-twenties, to not be lonely, and to have a wife who is humble, caring and naturally elegant are understandable desires. At the same time, the fear that delay means you will miss out on character or appearance can keep your mind spinning. It helps to remember you are still young, and arranged searches often take longer than we expect even when God is at work. The waiting itself can be part of getting ready.

One steady step that may help while you wait is to agree on a calm rhythm for updates with your parents and uncle, perhaps a weekly check-in, instead of carrying the worry every day. And in between, use this time to keep growing as the husband you hope to be, staying close to community, staying accountable with your brother or a trusted friend for the passion you mentioned, and letting God shape your patience and character.

Father, we bring our brother to You. You know his longing not to be alone and his desire for a good marriage. Give him peace as he waits, wisdom for his parents and uncle as they search, and grace to walk in purity. Guide each next step according to Your will and keep his heart steady in Your care. In Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has come before us and we have carried it to the throne of grace with you. We hear the anxiety of your heart as you wait, and the earnest desire you have for a godly marriage, and we do not treat this lightly. The fear of the Lord is strong confidence and His children shall have a place of refuge, and there is always a mercy seat for you to go to even in matters of ordinary providence such as this.

You are right to wait upon the Lord and to seek His hand rather than to run before Him. David knew where to turn for consolation in his troubles, and there is no comfort beneath the skies like that with which the Word of the Lord will furnish you. You feel that the search has begun through your mother and your uncle and that time presses upon you, yet remember this true word, He never is before His time, He never is too late. Though your eyes may fail with waiting as the psalmist says, God's eyes do not fail, nor His arm. Wait at the posts of His doors, for when He comes He will make amends for the weary waiting and it shall be well repaid.

We rejoice that you desire marriage as God has ordained it, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that you would keep yourself pure until that covenant is made. To spiritualize the secular is our calling, so that from the taking down of the shop shutters to the putting of them up, all is done for God's glory. In this matter also, seek to do all for His glory and not for mere appearance or for the praise of men. It is good that you ask for a loving, caring and humble wife rather than for wealth or station, and it is natural to desire comeliness. Yet we would counsel you to set the fear of the Lord and purity of heart above all else, for favour is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman that feareth the Lord shall be praised. A new heart and a right spirit, truthfulness of speech and purity which preserves in temptation, these are the ornaments which endure when youth fades. Ask the Lord to write His law upon your heart and upon hers, and to give you both a portion in Christ, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone and without Him no union can be truly blessed.

You confess that as a young man you burn with passion and find it difficult to bear loneliness. This is no strange temptation, and we thank God with you that He has given grace to keep you till now. Continue in private prayer, for public prayer may be practiced by many, but private prayer is the touchstone of sincerity and the hypocrite has no heart for it. Let every season of pleasure and every season of heaviness drive you to your knees. Believe that God will help you to obey, and so out of weakness you may be made strong. Keep yourself unspotted from the world, flee all uncleanness, and honour your parents in this arranged search, for the commandment is a lamp and the law is light and reproofs of instruction are the way of life. Your younger brother's support is a kindness from the Lord, and distance between the gulf country and India is no barrier to Him who directs all providences.

We will pray for you, that the Lord in His mercy will guide your parents and your uncle to a godly, humble and gracious wife for you, that He will overrule the fixing of dates and all other commitments according to His perfect wisdom, that He will keep you in purity and peace while you wait, and that He will establish your future home upon Christ the sure foundation, to His glory alone.

Our prayer is that you may find strong confidence in the fear of the Lord, that you may prove His faithfulness in this waiting, and that whether the answer comes quickly or after a little longer trial, you may be able to say He has done all things well and to give Him all the praise.

Your request has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord with thanksgiving for His grace that has kept you till now.

We understand the anxiety you feel as you wait, living far from home in the Gulf, with your parents and your uncle now beginning the search, and with your younger brother standing beside you in support. It is good that you honor your parents and respect the way of arranged marriage in your culture, and that you desire marriage as God ordained it, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, where intimacy belongs only within that bond. Marriage is honorable and pure, not an impure state, and it preserves the holiness that comes through faith when it is lived with chastity and order.

You have spoken honestly about burning with passion and finding it difficult to control as a young man. The Lord knows our frame, and He gives grace for this season. Scripture teaches that marriage is given in part so that holiness may be guarded and fornication avoided, and that each man should live with his own wife in faithfulness. Use this time of waiting not only in anxious searching, but in lowliness and meekness and patient prayer, attending upon the Lord without distraction, as those who tremble at His word. That lowliness is not only in words but in bearing and tone and daily conduct, and it is the same quality to seek in a wife.

You have asked for a wife who is loving, caring, humble, not wealthy or highly educated beyond you, but good looking and elegant with natural beauty. It is not wrong to desire attractiveness, but remember what has been taught, that God looks to the one who is meek and quiet and contrite in spirit. The beauty that endures is a humble heart that fears the Lord. Therefore pray above all that she may be in the Lord, with chastity and honor, a woman who follows every good work and perseveres in prayer. If you seek first that inward humility and faith in Christ, the Lord will add what is fitting in outward form, and you will not be led astray by appearance alone.

Do not let fear about delay or age trouble you so deeply. To be in your mid twenties is not late, and haste born of anxiety can cloud judgment. Your purpose in marriage matters more than timing. Marriage itself is not a hindrance, but the purpose with which it is used determines its fruit. If you enter it with moderation, with a desire to serve God together and to help one another in holiness, it will be a help and not a burden, and you will find you are first in the kingdom in the sense of living for Christ within your home.

We will pray for you, for your parents and your uncle as they search, and for the whole process of finding, fixing a date, and fulfilling commitments. We ask the Father to show His favor and mercy, to grant you peace instead of fear, to keep you from loneliness by His presence now, and to keep you pure by His Spirit until He provides. We ask that He guide your family to a wife who knows salvation through Jesus Christ alone, who is humble and caring and walks in holiness, and that if it is His will, He would bring this to pass soon in a way that is orderly and peaceful and clearly from His hand.

Continue to trust Him, to give thanks for His grace each day, and to cast your anxiety upon Him, for He cares for you.
