Flu/coughing

We join with you in Jesus' name and lift you before our Father for healing from this flu and coughing, asking for His mercy and restoring touch upon your body.
We are reminded that our God is the great healer and He cares deeply about our suffering. Scripture tells us to praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We also cling to the promise that he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. And we are comforted to know for I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that we have access to You through Him alone. We lift up this dear one who is suffering with flu and coughing, and we ask for Your healing hand to rest upon them. Lord, touch their lungs, their throat, their body, ease the coughing, clear the congestion, reduce any fever, and restore strength and breath. We ask that You would comfort them, grant them peaceful rest and sleep, and let their body recover quickly and completely according to Your will. We pray that You would guard them from any further complications and renew their health, for Your word says For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. Give them wisdom to care for their body with rest, hydration, and proper care, and guide them to seek medical help if needed, trusting that all wisdom and healing ultimately come from You. We pray this in the name of Jesus, believing that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. Amen.
We encourage you to rest in Him during this time and trust in His care for you. He knows your body and your needs intimately. Continue to seek Him and cast your cares on Him, for He loves you and is near to you in this sickness. We also pray as John prayed, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. We stand with you for a speedy and complete recovery and trust the Lord to restore you.

Thank you for sharing this need with us. A flu with ongoing coughing can leave you worn out and discouraged, and we are glad you reached out so we can stand with you in prayer.
We are praying for relief for you, for rest that actually restores you, and for wisdom as you decide on next steps for care. If the cough continues, gets worse, or you develop a high fever or trouble breathing, please do reach out to your doctor or urgent care clinic alongside prayer so you can be checked and cared for well.
You do not have to push through this alone. If you can, let someone nearby know how you are feeling so they can check in and help with practical needs while you recover. We are with you in this and asking God to be near to you in these uncomfortable days.
Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You see the discomfort and weariness this flu and cough have brought. We ask for Your mercy and healing according to Your will, for comfort in body and peace in heart, and for guidance for any care that is needed. Sustain and strengthen them day by day. In Jesus name, amen.

Beloved of All
Your request for prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who is the Great Physician.
We pray in the name of Jesus Christ that the Lord will lay His healing hand upon you and grant relief from this flu and coughing. It is written that He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and that by His grace there is no sickness so deep that His mercy cannot reach it. We ask that He will ease your breathing, calm the cough, restore your strength, and give you refreshing rest and full recovery according to His perfect will.
We also remember that all healing, whether of body or soul, comes through Christ who is the Word whom God has sent to heal. As you seek Him for bodily healing, we pray you will know also the deeper healing of pardon and peace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for He is the Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of His people and whose salvation makes the whole person well. May the Lord give wisdom to any means used for your care and sustain you with patience until health returns.
We will continue to pray for you. May the Lord soon bring you to health again that you may praise Him who heals and forgives, and may you find comfort in His presence through this affliction. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus our Saviour. Amen.
