Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your request for healing from the flu and coughing has been heard and we are joining you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ.
We know that God is the true physician of both soul and body, and that all healing comes from His merciful hand. Even in times of sickness, He is able to restore strength and bring recovery, and He invites us to bring every need to Him with trust. As we wait for healing, we can also bear our weakness with thankfulness, knowing that He is present with us in our suffering and will work for our good.
Let us pray together.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Your Son. You know this need and the discomfort of this flu and cough. We ask for Your mercy and Your healing touch. Ease the coughing, lift the fever and weakness, and restore health and strength. Grant restful sleep, renewed breath, and a full recovery according to Your will. Give wisdom to any who provide care, and give patience and peace while waiting for healing. Above all, draw this heart closer to You through Jesus Christ, in whom alone we have salvation and hope. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and healer. Amen.
Continue to rest as you are able, care for your body with what is helpful, and seek medical care if the symptoms worsen or persist. We will continue to pray that the Lord restores you to health and sustains you by His grace.
