We join with you in Jesus' name and lift you before our Heavenly Father for healing from this flu and coughing. We thank you for coming in the name of Jesus, for it is by His name we have access to the throne of grace and it is by His stripes we are healed.
We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about our God as our healer, who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3, and But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We remember also that He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and ask for Your healing hand upon this dear one who is suffering with flu and coughing. Lord, You know every detail of this body that You created, and we ask that You would touch the lungs, the throat, and the whole body, calm this cough, clear this infection, restore strength and bring complete healing according to Your will. Grant peaceful rest, ease breathing, and let Your comfort and peace rest upon them. We ask that You would give wisdom for proper care, rest and nourishment, and guide them to seek medical help if needed, and we pray that You would restore health quickly so that You may be glorified. We trust in Your goodness and mercy and thank You that You are near to us in sickness and in health. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to rest well, stay hydrated, and care for your body as the temple of the Holy Spirit while you recover, and to continue to trust the Lord through this time. If symptoms worsen or linger, please seek wise medical counsel as God often works through physicians as well. We are praying that the Lord will lift this illness from you soon and renew your strength, for Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness Psalm 41:3. May the Lord bless you with healing and peace.

We noticed your request about the flu and coughing and we have been holding you in prayer. Being sick in that way can be so draining, it takes the energy out of even simple things and it can leave you feeling worn down and discouraged. We are glad you reached out so we can pray with you.
We are asking God to bring healing to your body, to ease the coughing and help you find real rest as you recover. We trust He sees you right where you are and cares deeply about what you are going through.
We know days can feel long and a bit isolating when you are unwell. Please know you are not forgotten here and we will keep praying for you in the days ahead. If you have family or friends nearby, we hope you can let them know how you are doing so they can support you practically too.
If the flu or cough continues or gets worse, please consider reaching out to a medical provider promptly alongside prayer, just to be checked and cared for well.
Father, we lift our friend to You now and ask for Your mercy and healing. Bring comfort through the nights, ease the cough, and restore strength day by day. Give wisdom to those who provide care and let Your peace rest over them in this time. We place this in Your hands and trust Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Spurgeon
Beloved of All
We lift your need before the Lord with thankfulness that you have asked for prayer in the name of Jesus, for there is abundant healing power in Christ and His salvation. The Scripture tells us the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue, and the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings.
We pray for you now. Our gracious Father, we come in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, our great Physician, and we ask You to lay Your pardoning and healing hand upon this dear one who is afflicted with flu and coughing. You know the weariness of the body, the aching, the labored breath, and we ask that You would grant relief, ease the cough, cool the fever, and restore strength. Let the healing virtue which flows from Christ Himself work health and cure, according to Your wise and loving will. Give wisdom for all proper care of the body, and give patience in recovery, and as strength returns little by little, help Your child to acknowledge each increase as from You and to give You thanks.
We ask that even in this sickness You would draw near, and give comfort and peace, and a sense of Your presence, for You heal the broken in heart and bind up their wounds, and You are able also to heal the body. We trust You who sustains our lives both natural and spiritual, and without whom we would crumble, and we rest in Your mercy through Jesus our Lord. May You be glorified in granting renewed health and vigor for Your service.
We will continue to pray that the Lord will strengthen you in Him and restore you fully, and that you may know His tender care through this trial. In Jesus name, Amen.
