Flee Wrath Receive Life, John 3:16

Father, we thank You for the Holy Spirit and ask for more fervency, love and perseverance to pray AND share Jesus, since eternal souls are at stake, the devil is real and deceives the whole world, Rev 12:9, with lies, John 8:44, blinding eyes, 2 Cor 4:4. Since both Heaven AND Hell are real, perpetual dwelling places, Exodus 32:32-33, Ps 69:28, Isaiah 66:23-24, Dan 12:1-2, etc… Let us warn people to flee from the wrath to come, Matt 3:7, and come out of the midst of Babylon and be separate, 2 Cor 6:17-7:1, Rev 18:3-4, 5-6, 7-8. Totally relying on Christ alone for salvation, John 20:31, Eph 2:8-9, with true salvation bearing fruit, Acts 26:20.

Not only John the Baptist, but actually JESUS warned us about “perishing” more than ANYONE in The Bible... Matt 3:12, Matt 10:28, Matt 25:41, Matt 25:46, Mark 9:43-44, Luke 3:17, Luke 12:4-5, Luke 16:22-23, John 3:16, John 5:28-29, Etc…

As did The Apostles, Acts 17:30-31, Rom 2:5, 2 Peter 3:9, James 5:19-20, Jude 1:7, and GOD gave JESUS The Revelation and HE communicated it to John by HIS ANGEL, Rev 1:1-2, Bless us as we READ, Rev 1:3, and HEED, Rev 13:8, Rev 19:20, Rev 20:12, Rev 20:14-15, Rev 21:27...

Let us make known with confidence the mystery of The Gospel, Eph 6:18-20. Help us preach Jesus our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption, 1 Cor 1:30. Guard us and guide us, and keep us from wrongdoing, fear & lies, Zeph 3:13, all evil in any way, shape, form, John 17:15, in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, Rev 3:14, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you wholeheartedly in this urgent prayer and we say amen to your cry to flee the wrath to come and receive life in Christ.

We agree that eternal souls are at stake and the need is great. Scripture reminds us For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16. That perishing is real and eternal, and Jesus Himself warned more than anyone about it. He said Don't be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna Matt 10:28, and These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life Matt 25:46. He warned If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having your two hands to go into Gehenna, into the unquenchable fire Mark 9:43, and Fear him, who after he has killed, has power to cast into Gehenna. Yes, I tell you, fear him Luke 12:5. We believe as you have said that both Heaven and Hell are real, perpetual dwelling places, for the hour comes, in which all that are in the tombs will hear his voice, and will come out, those who have done good, to the resurrection of life and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment John 5:28-29, and If anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire Rev 20:15. There will in no way enter into it anything profane, or one who causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life Rev 21:27.

We also agree that the enemy is real and actively deceiving. The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world Rev 12:9. Jesus said of him He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn't stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own for he is a liar, and its father John 8:44, and in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them 2 Cor 4:4. Therefore we must preach the light while there is time.

We hear your call to warn people to flee from the wrath to come Matt 3:7 and to come out from among them, and be separate, says the Lord 2 Cor 6:17, as it is written I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you have no participation in her sins, and that you don't receive of her plagues Rev 18:4. We affirm with you that salvation is totally by Christ alone, for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast Eph 2:8-9, and that true faith bears fruit in repentance, that they should repent and turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance Acts 26:20. The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked. But now he commands that all people everywhere should repent, because he has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he has ordained Acts 17:30-31, and we know The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Pet 3:9.

So we pray together now. Father, we thank You for the Holy Spirit and for the gift of Your Son. We ask You to fill us with more fervency, love and perseverance to pray and to share Jesus with boldness and tears. Make us faithful watchmen who warn the lost and make known with boldness the mystery of the Good News Eph 6:19. Let utterance be given to us to open our mouths to speak as we ought to speak Eph 6:20. Make Christ known through us as our wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption 1 Cor 1:30. Guard us and keep us from the evil one John 17:15, keep us from wrongdoing and from fear and lies, that The remnant will not do iniquity, nor speak lies, neither will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth Zeph 3:13. Bless us as we read and hear and keep the words of prophecy, for the time is at hand Rev 1:3. Keep us relying wholly on Jesus, believing that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life, and help us to call others to flee the wrath to come and to come out and be separate unto You. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, for Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son John 14:13. Amen.

We appreciate you bringing this burden before the Lord so plainly. The urgency you feel for neighbors and family to know Christ and find life in Him is a gift, and we want to stand with you in it. We hear your desire for more love and perseverance, not just words, and we are praying for that steadiness for you.

One thing we have found helpful to remember is that coming to faith is often a process for people. A single conversation rarely changes a deep conviction, but consistent care, listening, and simple introductions to Jesus over time can soften hearts and open doors. You do not have to be a scholar to do this well. An evangelist at heart is simply someone who says, come meet the One who has changed my life, in the ordinary places where you already live and work.

It may help to keep your prayer focused and sustainable. Ask the Lord to bring one or two people specifically to mind, hold them before Him daily, and watch for natural moments to listen, to show kindness, and to speak about Jesus when they are open. Staying connected with a few other believers who share this burden can also help you keep going when it feels discouraging.

Father, we thank You for Your mercy in Christ and for the work of Your Spirit. Give our brother fresh love and perseverance, guard his heart from fear and discouragement, and use his life and words to point others to Jesus. Keep him walking closely with You and make his witness clear and gentle. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your earnest prayer concerning fleeing the wrath to come and receiving life in Christ has been laid before the Lord with thanksgiving, and we join our hearts to yours in this burden for perishing souls.

How needful is such fervency in these days when the devil deceives the whole world and blinds the eyes of them that believe not. You have spoken truly that both Heaven and Hell are real and perpetual dwelling places, and that our Lord Jesus Himself warned more faithfully than any other of perishing, of the fire that is not quenched, and of everlasting punishment. With John the Baptist we must still cry, flee from the wrath to come, and with the apostles we must proclaim that God now commandeth all men everywhere to repent, for He hath appointed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness. To come out from the midst of Babylon and to be separate is the call of holiness, and it is well that you plead for grace totally to rely on Christ alone for salvation, for by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.

We pray that the Holy Spirit will stir up that fire within you and make it burn more brilliantly. Be much in private prayer, for that stirs up the fire. There is a power in prayer which puts a ladder between earth and heaven and bids angels walk up and down to convey our wants to God and bring down blessings from above. Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for the prayer of Christ is of this character, and when you plead for souls you plead as He pleads who cried, Father, keep them from the evil. Come boldly therefore unto the throne of grace, that ye may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need, and let your prayer leap red hot from your soul, Have mercy, O Lord, thou Son of David.

And take comfort in the sure promise of perseverance in holiness. The Lord hath said, I will make an everlasting covenant with them that I will not turn away from them, and I will put my fear in their hearts that they shall not depart from me. If the grace of God hath really changed you, you are radically and lastingly changed, and true salvation will bear fruit in repentance and faith. This perseverance is not presumption, but a settled way of grace, holding on to Christ and saying, I will not let thee go except thou bless me. As you abide in Him and His words abide in you, you shall bring forth much fruit and so shall you be His disciples.

We therefore pray with you that God would guard and guide you and keep you from all evil, from wrongdoing and fear and lies, that He would grant you boldness to make known with confidence the mystery of the gospel, preaching Jesus who of God is made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, and that He would give you love and perseverance to warn sinners and to win souls, watching with all perseverance and supplication for all saints, until many are turned from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God. May the Lord answer as He answered Jacob, not always as we expect but according to His abundant mercy, and keep you abiding near to Him all your days, in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, Amen.
