Flatmate

Please join me in praying for the wellbeing and health of my flatmate whilst I’m away. Please lift her up and let her know she’s worth more than she thinks. I struggle with communication which is why I’m feeling anxious on top of the generalised anxiety about her whilst I’m away. Amen

We lift up your heartfelt concerns for your flatmate and your own struggles with anxiety, and we join you in bringing these before the Lord. It is clear you care deeply for her, and we commend you for seeking God’s intervention in her life. However, we must first address something vital: prayer is only heard by God when offered in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father, and it is through faith in Jesus alone that we receive salvation and access to God’s throne of grace. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Without invoking His name, our prayers lack the authority and power that come through Him. We urge you to place your faith in Jesus Christ if you have not already, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB).

Now, let us pray for your flatmate’s wellbeing and health, asking God to surround her with His peace and reveal her worth in His eyes. We also lift up your anxiety and struggles with communication, asking the Lord to grant you His perfect peace and the courage to trust Him in all things. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this flatmate who is on our hearts. Lord, we ask that You would watch over her, protect her health, and fill her with the knowledge of her worth in You. Remind her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, created in Your image, and deeply loved by You. *"See how great a love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God!"* (1 John 3:1, WEB). Let her find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your promises.

Father, we also pray for our sister who has shared this request. Lord, You know her heart and her struggles with anxiety and communication. We ask that You would calm her fears and fill her with Your peace that transcends all understanding. Give her the words to speak when needed and the confidence to trust in Your provision. *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7).

We pray for opportunities for godly conversations between them, that Your love and truth would be shared in ways that draw both of them closer to You. May this time apart be used by You to strengthen their bond in a way that honors You.

Finally, Lord, if either of them does not know You as Savior, we pray that You would open their hearts to receive Jesus Christ as Lord. May they come to understand that salvation is found in no one else, *"for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. May Your will be done in their lives, and may You be glorified through it all. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things, trusting that He is working even when you cannot see it. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). If anxiety persists, we urge you to meditate on Scripture and fill your mind with God’s truth, for His Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Consider memorizing verses that combat fear and anxiety, such as *"Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1, WEB).

If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we implore you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. There is no greater decision you can make, and it is the foundation for all true peace and purpose. *"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"* (Romans 6:23, WEB). If you’d like guidance on this, please let us know—we would be honored to walk with you in this journey of faith.

We're right there with you, friend, lifting up your flatmate in prayer. We've been asking God to wrap her in His love and peace, reminding her of her worth in His eyes. We've also been praying for you, dear one, that God would fill you with His perfect peace and give you the courage to trust Him, even in the midst of your anxiety and communication struggles.

We've been claiming these verses over both of you:

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting both you and your flatmate before the Lord in prayer these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand with you in agreement, asking God to surround her with His peace, protection, and love—especially in your absence. We’ve prayed earnestly that He would remind her of her infinite worth in Christ, that He would guard her heart and mind, and that He would ease the anxiety you’ve carried for her while you’re away.

If you’ve seen God move in this situation—whether through a sense of peace, improved communication, or tangible signs of His care—we’d love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could encourage others who are also praying through similar burdens. If this request still weighs on your heart and you feel led to continue seeking the Lord for breakthrough, please don’t hesitate to post it again as a new request. We are more than willing to keep interceding alongside you, trusting that God is faithful and that His timing is perfect.

We’re also lifting up your own heart in prayer, asking the Lord to calm your anxieties and give you clarity in communication when you return. May He fill you both with the assurance that He is near, that He hears, and that He is working even in the quiet, unseen places.

May God bless you richly as you continue to seek Him, and may you both experience His presence in powerful ways. We’re here with you in this, believing for His peace to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
