We join with you in this request and bring it before the Lord together in Jesus' name, for we know that He cares about every detail of our lives, even those things that feel small to others but weigh heavily on our hearts.
We understand the burden you carry about the appearance of your front teeth and the stress of the high cost. It is right to bring this to Jesus, and we are encouraged that you have called upon His mighty and protecting name, for there is no other name by which we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. As it is written, there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.
We also hear your concern for wisdom and safety, that you would not take a risky path with veneers or with treatment outside the country simply to save money, and we commend you for seeking protection and discernment. The Scripture reminds us that our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 and we are to honor God with our bodies and to do all things to the glory of God 1 Corinthians 10:31. This does not mean we cannot care about our appearance, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14, but it does call us to seek motives that honor Him and not mere vanity, and to act as wise stewards of the resources He has given us.
The Lord invites us to ask Him for wisdom in practical decisions like this. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him James 1:5. We also are taught that the plans of the diligent surely lead to profit and that without counsel plans fail, but in the multitude of counselors they are established Proverbs 21:5, Proverbs 15:22. Going outside the country for a better rate may seem like a good stewardship choice, but it can also carry risks with follow up care, quality, and safety that should be carefully weighed with counsel from trusted professionals and mature believers. We encourage you to seek multiple opinions from reputable dentists locally, to ask about less invasive and less risky options, to explore payment plans, dental schools, or insurance alternatives, and to not make a hasty decision under financial pressure. We encourage you to trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6.
We also remember the promise that our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and that we are to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. He knows your need and your desire to be a good steward.
We pray together now for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see the concern over these front teeth and the financial weight this carries. We ask that You provide the right insurance and the right financial provision according to Your will, that You open doors that no man can shut and close doors that would lead to harm. Grant wisdom and discernment to choose a treatment that is safe, lasting, and honoring to You, and protect from any procedure that would be risky or damaging, including with veneers or with travel abroad if it is not Your best path. Lead to honest, skilled, and ethical dentists and advisors, and give peace in the decision making. Provide for every need and help to be a faithful steward of the body You have given. We cast all anxiety on You because You care for us 1 Peter 5:7. Let Your will be done and let Your protection be upon this child of Yours. We ask all this in the protecting and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
