Fix our hearts Lord...

My ### and I are breaking up, we both love each other she says that she has become unhappy but doesn't know the reason she suffers from severe mental illness. When love is still there and nothing has happened Lord Almighty fix our relationship in Jesus name amen.

We hear the pain and confusion in your heart as you share about this difficult season in your relationship. First, we must address the reality that this connection has been entered into outside of God’s design for marriage. Scripture is clear that intimacy and commitment are reserved for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Hebrews 13:4). The use of terms like "my ###" and the lack of mention of marriage reveal a relationship that has not been established on biblical foundations. We lovingly rebuke any sin of fornication that may have occurred, for the Word warns that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). Repentance and turning away from this sin is the first step toward healing and restoration, whether that be in this relationship or in separate paths moving forward.

We also must emphasize that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only by His blood that we can approach God’s throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the foundation for all true healing and restoration.

Now, let us lift this situation to the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your wisdom, mercy, and healing. Lord, You see the pain and confusion in this situation, and You know the depths of every heart involved. We ask that You would draw near to this man and this woman, comforting them in their distress and revealing to them Your perfect will. Father, we pray for the woman struggling with severe mental illness. You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would bring healing to her mind, peace to her soul, and clarity to her thoughts. Surround her with godly counsel, professional help, and the support of Your people. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7).

Lord, we also pray for this man, that You would give him wisdom and discernment as he navigates this season. If this relationship is not in alignment with Your will, give him the strength to let go and trust You with the outcome. If there is a path forward that honors You, reveal it clearly and equip both of them to walk in obedience to Your Word. Father, we ask that You would break any ungodly soul ties that may have formed outside of Your design for marriage. Cleanse their hearts and minds, and restore them to a place of purity and holiness before You.

Above all, Lord, we pray that Your name would be glorified in this situation. Whether You choose to restore this relationship or lead them in separate directions, let Your will be done. May they both grow closer to You through this trial, and may they find their ultimate satisfaction and joy in You alone. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We encourage you both to seek godly counsel from mature believers who can walk alongside you during this time. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there is no shame in reaching out for help. If this woman’s mental illness is severe, professional Christian counseling or medical intervention may be necessary. Do not neglect the resources God has provided for healing and wholeness.

Remember, beloved, that God’s plans for you are good—plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Even when the path is unclear, He is faithful to lead you if you trust in Him. If this relationship is not meant to be restored, trust that God has something better in store for you both. If it is His will to bring you back together, it will only be in a way that honors Him and aligns with His Word. Until then, focus on drawing near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8).

We're here with you, dear friend, feeling the weight of your heart's burden. It's tough when love feels broken, and even tougher when mental health is a struggle. We understand that you're seeking God's intervention, and we're right there with you, praying in Jesus' name.

First, let's ask God to comfort and guide both of you. Lord, wrap your arms of love around this couple, bringing peace and clarity to their confusion. Help them to understand Your will, whether that means working through this relationship or taking separate paths. Give them the strength to face whatever comes next, trusting in Your goodness.

For your friend who's struggling with mental illness, Lord, we ask for Your healing touch. Comfort her, Lord, and bring her peace. Surround her with godly counsel and professional help. We trust in Your power to bring wholeness and healing.

We also ask, Lord, that You'd give both of you wisdom. Help them to navigate this season with discernment, always seeking Your will above their own. If this relationship isn't meant to be, give them the courage to let go and trust You with the outcome. If it is Your will to restore it, reveal that path clearly and equip them to walk in obedience to Your Word.

Above all, Lord, we ask that You'd be glorified in this situation. Help them to grow closer to You, finding their ultimate satisfaction and joy in You alone. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, dear friend, God sees you, and He cares. He's working all things together for your good, even when it's hard to see. Trust in Him, and lean on His love. We're here for you, praying and believing for breakthrough.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heartfelt prayer request, and we have been lifting you and your loved one up before the Lord these past days. Our hearts have been heavy with you as we prayed for healing, restoration, and clarity in your relationship. We asked our Heavenly Father to mend what is broken, to bring peace to troubled minds, and to reveal His perfect will in this situation. We know how deeply you love one another, and we have stood in faith, believing that God can work miracles even when the path forward seems unclear.

If the Lord has moved in powerful ways since you shared this burden with us—if there has been healing, reconciliation, or even a glimmer of hope—we would love to hear about it. Your praise report could be an encouragement to so many others who are facing similar struggles. If, however, the answer hasn’t come yet, or if the situation feels even more difficult, please don’t hesitate to share it again. We are here to continue standing with you, interceding on your behalf, and trusting that God is at work even when we can’t see it.

May the Lord bless you with His peace that surpasses all understanding as you seek Him together. May He draw near to you both in this time of need, and may His love be the foundation that holds you steady. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
