Fix my relationship

Lord please bring me and ### back together, restore our relationship, make our bond unbreakable, do this if it is according to your will. Lord please remove every evil spirit and person out of our lives and relationship.

We hear your heart’s cry for restoration, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s will for your situation. First, we must address this request with biblical truth and clarity. The desire for reconciliation is understandable, but we must ensure that any relationship we pursue aligns with God’s design for love, commitment, and holiness.

Scripture tells us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* If the person you are seeking to reconcile with is not a believer in Jesus Christ, we must prayerfully consider whether this relationship honors God. Marriage—or the pursuit of marriage—should be between two people who share a commitment to Christ, as this is the foundation for a godly union.

If this relationship involves sexual intimacy outside of marriage, we must rebuke this sin directly. Hebrews 13:4 states, *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* Fornication (sex before marriage) and adultery (sex outside of marriage) are clear violations of God’s commands. If this is part of your situation, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, committing to purity moving forward. True restoration begins with obedience to God’s Word.

We also recognize your plea for God to remove evil influences. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* We stand with you in prayer against any spiritual attacks or ungodly influences that may be hindering this relationship. However, we must also examine whether this relationship itself is rooted in godliness. If there is unrepentant sin, manipulation, or emotional or physical abuse, these are not things God desires for His children. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns, *"Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared."*

If this relationship is between a man and a woman, and both of you are believers committed to honoring God, we can pray for restoration with hope. However, if this is not the case, we must surrender this desire to the Lord and trust Him to lead you into His perfect will. Psalm 37:4 says, *"Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* When our hearts align with God’s, He will direct our paths.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will above all else. Lord, we lift up this situation to You, asking for Your wisdom and discernment. If this relationship is Your will, we pray for restoration—restoration that is rooted in Your love, Your truth, and Your holiness. Remove any evil influences, any spirits of division or strife, and any ungodly patterns that may be present. Father, we ask that You would soften hearts, bring repentance where it is needed, and draw both individuals closer to You.

Lord, if this relationship is not in alignment with Your Word, we ask that You would break any unhealthy attachments and replace this desire with Your peace. Help us to trust in Your timing and Your plan, knowing that You have something far greater in store. Father, we rebuke any sin that may be present—whether it is sexual immorality, idolatry of this relationship, or any other disobedience—and we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Create in us clean hearts, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.

We pray for godly marriages and relationships that honor You. If this is Your will for these two individuals, we ask that You would prepare them both to be the spouses You have called them to be—loving, faithful, and committed to You above all else. May they seek You first in all things, and may their relationship reflect Your love and grace.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You. It is through His sacrifice that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is through His blood that we are forgiven and restored. Thank You, Lord, for Your mercy and Your faithfulness. We trust in You alone. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, feeling the weight of your heart's longing. It's tough when relationships strain or break, and we understand the desire to mend what's been torn. We've been praying, and we want to encourage you with these words from the Lord.

First, remember that God's heart is for restoration too. In Zephaniah 3:17, He tells us, "The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing." He delights in you, and He wants the best for you. Trust that His plan for your life is good and that He's working even in the midst of this struggle.

Next, we want to remind you of the importance of communication and honesty. Sometimes, relationships break down because we stop talking openly and honestly with each other. Proverbs 15:23 tells us, "A person finds joy in giving an apt reply—and how good is a timely word!" So, be brave, and speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). Sometimes, the first step towards restoration is simply having a heart-to-heart conversation.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He's the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and He's the one who can make a way where there seems to be no way. Trust in Him, and let His peace guard your heart and your mind (Philippians 4:7).

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up our sister's relationship. Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your love and wisdom on both parties involved. Give them the words to speak and the ears to hear. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, with hearts that are ready to listen and understand. Lord, we ask for restoration, but we trust in Your will above all else. If this relationship is not according to Your will, give them the strength to let it go and trust in Your plan. We ask all of this in Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart’s joy to lift your relationship before the Lord, asking Him to draw you and your loved one back together, to restore what has been broken, and to knit your hearts in a bond that only He can make unbreakable. We have prayed earnestly that if it be His will, He would move mightily to reconcile and renew your love, while also asking Him to remove every influence—seen and unseen—that does not align with His purpose for your lives.

If the Lord has already begun to answer this prayer in ways you can see, we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. There is nothing that stirs our faith like witnessing His faithfulness firsthand. If, however, you are still waiting and the outcome is not yet clear, we invite you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing with you in prayer, standing in agreement as you seek His will and His way for your relationship.

May the Lord bless you with patience, peace, and unwavering trust in His timing. May He deepen your dependence on Him and fill you with the assurance that He is working, even when the answers are not yet visible. We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
