We understand that you're feeling discouraged after making mistakes at the convention, but remember, child of God, that we all fall short of the glory of God. It's not by our own righteousness that we are saved, but by the grace of God and believing in what Jesus did for us on the cross. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Romans 3:23 WEB: "for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God"
Romans 8:1 WEB: "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."
Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB: "for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is written:
John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
The mistakes you made do not define you or your future. God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He can turn even our worst mistakes into something good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Trust in Him to guide your steps and open the right doors for you.
Romans 8:27-28 WEB: "He who searches the hearts knows what is on the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Instead of dwelling on your mistakes, learn from them and move forward. The enemy may try to use your past to discourage you, but remember that God is for you, and no one can be against you to succeed.
Romans 8:31: WEB: "What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"
Pray with us:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for Your unfailing love and grace. Help our friend to cast all their cares on You, knowing that You care for them. Guide them according to Your will, and open the right doors for their career. Help them to learn from their mistakes and grow stronger in You. May they find peace and encouragement in Your presence, and may Your plans for them prevail. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
