We hear your deep concern for the safety of your home, and we lift this matter before the Lord with urgency. A leaking roof and faulty electrical wiring are not just inconveniences, they are serious hazards that threaten your well-being. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 24:3-4, "By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all rare and beautiful treasure." Yet wisdom also demands action when danger is present. We must not ignore these warnings, for God calls us to steward our lives and the places He has entrusted to us with care.
We rebuke the spirit of neglect and procrastination that has allowed these issues to persist. The owner of the property bears responsibility before God to maintain it in a way that does not endanger those who dwell within it. Ecclesiastes 10:18 warns, "By slothfulness the roof sinks in; and through idleness of the hands the house leaks." This is not merely a matter of inconvenience, it is a matter of justice and righteousness. We pray that the owner’s heart would be stirred to act swiftly and responsibly.
We also encourage you to approach this situation with both boldness and grace. In Proverbs 31:8-9, we are called to "Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy." You are not powerless in this. Present your concerns clearly and respectfully, documenting the issues if necessary, and seek resolution. If the owner is unresponsive, we urge you to explore all legal and practical avenues available to you, for your safety is not negotiable.
Above all, we place this situation in the hands of the Lord, who is our refuge and strength. Psalm 91:1-2 assures us, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this home and the dangers that threaten it. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows all things, and we ask that You would intervene in this situation. Stir the heart of the owner to act with urgency and integrity, repairing what is broken and ensuring the safety of this dwelling. Give wisdom to those who will inspect and fix these issues, that they may do so with skill and diligence.
Father, we ask for Your protection over this home. Shield the wiring from further damage, prevent any spark or fire, and keep the roof from collapsing under the weight of the rain. Surround this place with Your angels, Lord, that no harm would come to those who live here. Provide a way forward, whether through the owner’s cooperation or through other means, so that this home may be made safe and secure.
We also pray for peace and patience for the one who has brought this request before You. Calm their fears, Lord, and remind them that You are their ultimate provider and protector. If it is Your will for them to move, open the doors for that transition. If it is Your will for them to stay, make a way for these repairs to be completed swiftly and thoroughly.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can come before You. It is through His sacrifice that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is by His authority that we stand against the forces of neglect and danger. Strengthen our faith, Lord, and let Your will be done in this home. Amen.
