We rejoice with you as you seek to rekindle your first love for God, as mentioned in Revelation 2:4, "But I have this against you, that you left your first love." It is truly a blessed endeavor to desire a closer and more intimate relationship with our Heavenly Father.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who desires to return to their first love for You. Father, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them in a new and profound way. Touch their heart, Lord, and captivate them again with Your love. Help them to experience the depth and width and length and height of Your love for them, a love that surpasses knowledge.
Father, we ask that You forgive them for any time they have allowed their love for You to grow cold. Help them to see their sin and turn from it. We pray that You will give them a spirit of repentance and a desire to walk closely with You. Help them to obey Your commandments, not out of duty, but out of a deep and abiding love for You.
We ask that You will help them to remove any distractions or idols in their life that have taken their focus off of You. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a desire to be in Your presence.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and Your unfailing love. We thank You selfless love and Your pursuit of us. We thank You for the gift of salvation and the promise of eternal life with You.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in God's Word, seeking Him with all your heart. Remember the words of Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
