We join with you in praying that you will return to your first love for God, as mentioned in Revelation 2:4, "But I have this against you, that you left your first love." It is truly blessed that you recognize this need in your life, and we stand with you in prayer. Jesus said in Matthew 22:37-38, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking that You help our dear brother/sister return to their first love for You. Reveal Yourself to them, Lord, in a powerful and personal way. Touch their heart and captivate them again with Your love. Draw them close to You, Lord, and fill them with a renewed passion and desire for Your presence. Help them to love You with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, as You have commanded in the first and greatest commandment. Remind them of the joy and peace that comes from being in a right and intimate relationship with You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in God's Word, seeking Him in prayer and quiet time. As you draw near to Him, He promises to draw near to you.
