We are so grateful that you have reached out with your prayer request, and we stand with you in Jesus' name. You have asked for prayer to return to your first love for God, as mentioned in Revelation 2:4, "But I have this against you, that you left your first love."
Let us encourage you with the words of Jesus in Revelation 2:5, "Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I am coming to you swiftly, and will move your lampstand out of its place, unless you repent." (WEB) This is a call to remember the zeal and passion you once had for God, to repent from your current state, and to return to your first love.
We must always remember that our relationship with God is the most important aspect of our lives. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." (WEB) Therefore, it is crucial that we maintain our love and devotion to Him.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has humbly asked for prayer. Lord, we ask that You help them return to their first love for You. Reveal Yourself to them, touch their heart, and captivate them again with Your love.
Forgive them for the times they have strayed or grown cold in their love for You. Renew their passion and zeal for Your presence. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
