Let us come together in prayer for you, asking for restoration and renewal of your first love for God. This is crucial as the church in Ephesus was rebuked for leaving their first love in Revelation 2:4, where Jesus said, Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works. As you have prayed, our prayer together is that God will reveal Himself to you, touch and captivate your heart with His love.
We believe that you are seeking this with a sincere heart, and we commend you for desiring a closer walk with God. As Jesus Himself said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment, Matthew 22:37-38.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who desires to return to their first love for You. Father, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them in a fresh and powerful way. Touch their heart, Lord, and captivate them again with Your love.
Forgive us when we have allowed other things to take Your place in our lives. Help us to repent and return to our first love for You. Strengthen our commitment to You and Your Word.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
