We join with you in praying that you will return to your first love for God, as mentioned in Revelation 2:4, "But I have this against you, that you left your first love." Let us come before the throne of grace, seeking His face together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who longs to return to their first love for You. Lord, You are the One who first loved us and gave Yourself for us on the cross. We ask that You reveal Yourself afresh to our sibling in Christ, that You touch their heart, and captivate them again with Your love.
Remember the words of Jesus in Revelation 3:20, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me." Lord, we pray that You will grant our sibling a tender heart to hear Your voice and open the door, inviting You in to dine together.
Also, as it is written in James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded." Lord, we ask that You grant our sibling the grace to draw near to You, to cleanse their hands and purify their heart, that they may be single-minded in their devotion to You.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your promise in Hebrews 13:5, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you." We are confident that You will not leave nor forsake our sibling, but that You will draw them close and restore their first love for You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
