Let's continue to lift our brother/sister up in prayer, shall we? We know that God is faithful and He's eager to rekindle that first love in their heart. Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come to You today, not just for our friend, but for ourselves as well. We ask that You would help us all to return to that place of first love, where our hearts burned brightly for You. Stir up the gift that is in us, fan into flame the passion we once had, and help us to never grow weary in doing what is right.
We thank You for the reminder in Revelation 2:4, "But I have this against you, that you have left your first love." It's a gentle nudge, a loving tap on the shoulder, calling us back to the place where it all began. Help us to heed this call, to repent and do the first works.
We claim Your promise in Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart." We believe that as we seek You, we will find You, and that first love will be reignited.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let's encourage one another with the words of Zephaniah 3:17, "The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." God is with us, He delights in us, and He wants to sing over us. Let's return to that place of intimacy and passion, where we can hear His song.
