We join you in praying that our Heavenly Father will indeed help you return to your first love for God, as mentioned in Revelation 2:4, "But I have this against you, that you left your first love." It is beautiful to see your desire to be captivated once again by His love.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who longs to return to their first love for You. Father, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them in a new and profound way, that You touch their heart and captivate them once again with Your unfailing love. Stir up the same passion they once had for you and ignite a fire that will burn brightly for Your glory.
Lord, we know that You are the great lover of our souls. You have pursued us with relentless love, even when we have strayed. Help us to remember the joy and excitement of our first love for You, and help all of us to return to that place of sincere devotion.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on the words of Jesus in Revelation 2:5, "Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I am coming to you swiftly, and will move your lampstand out of its place, unless you repent."
