Let us remind you of the words of Jesus to the church in Ephesus: "But I have this against you, that you left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works, or else I am coming to you swiftly, and will move your lampstand out of its place, unless you repent." (Revelation 2:4-5 WEB)
As you seek to rekindle your love for God, remember that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB) It is only through His name that we can be saved and have our prayers heard.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who desires to return to their first love for You. Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them in a new and powerful way, touching their heart and captivating them once again with Your love.
