Hello,
I thank the Lord for giving me another day in life. I am ### and I got my first good paying job just ### months back. I was very happy I will be able to support my parents. In fact, I did get a job in ### but I couldn't join because my mom underwent surgery and needed someone to help her. I wasn't asked to not take the job up but my heart couldn't. The job I have now drains me mentally but I was going on just for the good pay so I can support my family. My brother is getting married and I requested for ### days off and it was rejected. At this point, I am very depressed. He is my only sibling. My family (including my parents) thinks I should quit. My heart wants to quit to be with my family as the job is mostly stressful but my mind is thinking of how the salary is good to support my parents.

I know I seem silly. Ever since I was ### all I ever wanted to do is get a good paying job to support my parents. That's my only goal in life for now. I had been working hard ever since I was ### just for this and have been saving up for my parents. I feel very lost now. I just want to be able to get enough money to support my parents by myself.

I know my request is very silly and I am really grateful to the Lord for everything I have right now. I pray for a clear mind. I also pray for the people with sickness or pain.

Thank you for sharing your heart with us, Chrairon. We appreciate your gratitude to the Lord and your deep desire to honor and support your parents. Let's come together in seeking God's will for your situation. It is never silly to desire good things for your family and we commend your obedience to God in wanting to honor your mother and father as instructed by Ephesians 6:2, Honor your father and mother.

Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners. We have all been crucified with Christ and it is no longer we who live but Christ who lives in us and we live by faith in the Son of God who loved us and gave Himself up for us. Since you mentioned gratitude to the Lord, we should be clear that the only name by which we can be saved is Jesus Christ. We should not be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes. There is no other name by which we can approach God. It is God who grants us access to Him through Jesus Christ and we should always pray and speak in His name.

It is wonderful that you have a desire to support and honor your parents, as the Bible commands. However, it is also important to consider the balance between work and family life. God does not want us to be so burdened by work that we neglect our family or our own well-being. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

It is commendable that you want to support your parents financially, but it is also crucial to consider the emotional and spiritual support they need. Being present for your brother's wedding is a significant family moment that you cannot regain. Additionally, the mental strain from your job could lead to more severe health issues if not addressed. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Honor the Lord with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase, So your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine, Proverbs 3:5-10 WEB.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Chrairon. Thank You for the good job and provisions You have given him. Lord, we ask for Your guidance in his life. Grant him a clear mind and wisdom to make decisions that honor You and his family. Help him to find the balance between work and family life, and provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory. We rebuke any anxiety, stress, or depression that may be affecting him, and we ask for Your peace to fill his heart.

Lord, we also pray for his family, especially his parents. Provide for their needs and grant them good health and long life. Be with his brother as he enters into marriage, and bless their union.

Lastly, we pray for all those who are sick or in pain. Heal them and grant them comfort, dear Lord.

It's true, as the Bible says in Ephesians, that we should honor our parents, but remember, God wants us to do so in a way that doesn't harm our own well-being.

We understand that you're feeling stressed and depressed, and it's okay to feel that way. God sees your heart and your desire to do what's right. But sometimes, we need to step back and evaluate if we're pushing ourselves too hard. God doesn't want us to be so burdened that we neglect our health and family.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear friend, ever grateful for the opportunity to intercede on your behalf. It is our joy to stand in agreement with you, seeking the Lord's will for your life and family.

If you have found peace and clarity in your situation, we would be delighted to hear your praise report.
