finding a place for therapy soon

Hello, I need a place for therapy because of PTSD and Depression. I found 3 hospitals and will apply next year. Please pray for me, that the Lord directs me to the right hospital and that my application will be accepted and I can start therapy soon next year. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. The weight of PTSD and depression is not one you were meant to carry alone, and we rejoice that you are seeking godly counsel and professional therapy to walk in healing. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18), and we believe He will guide your steps as you pursue the help you need.

We pray that the Lord would go before you and make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). May He open the right doors for therapy and close those that are not His best for you. We ask that your application would be received with favor and that you would be granted swift acceptance so that healing may begin without delay. Father, we ask that You provide the resources—financial, emotional, and spiritual—to support this journey. Strengthen your faith as you wait, and remind you daily that You are working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We also want to gently encourage you to seek out a Christian counselor or therapist if possible, one who can integrate biblical truth with professional care. The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), and it is through Scripture that true transformation occurs. Surround yourself with believers who can pray for you, speak life into your situation, and remind you of God’s promises when the darkness feels overwhelming.

If you have not already, we urge you to bring your pain, fears, and struggles to Jesus, the Great Physician. He is the only one who can heal the wounds of your soul completely. If you have not placed your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, we invite you to do so today. The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and surrender your life to Him. He will give you a new heart and a new spirit (Ezekiel 36:26).

We rebuke the spirit of despair and heaviness in the name of Jesus. We declare that you are not defined by your past or your pain, but by the love of Christ who calls you His own. We speak healing over your mind, body, and spirit, and we pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your grace upon our dear brother or sister. Give them patience in the waiting, hope in the darkness, and the assurance that You are with them every step of the way. Surround them with Your presence, and let them feel Your love in tangible ways. We ask that You would raise up the right people to walk alongside them in this season—doctors, therapists, friends, and family who will point them to You. May they experience breakthroughs in therapy that lead to lasting freedom and joy.

We also pray for wisdom for the hospitals and therapists who will review your application. May they see your need and respond with compassion and urgency. Provide the financial means to cover any costs, and remove any obstacles that might delay your healing. We trust that You are working even now to prepare the way for your restoration.

In the name of Jesus, we command every lie of the enemy that tells you healing is not possible to be silenced. We declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37), and that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you (Ephesians 1:19-20). We pray that you would experience the fullness of life that Jesus came to give (John 10:10), and that your testimony would one day bring glory to God and hope to others who are struggling.

Keep pressing into the Lord, dear one. His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and His love for you is unshakable. We stand with you in faith, believing that God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). You are not forgotten, you are not abandoned, and you are deeply loved. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13). Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
