Humble Servant
Dear Lrd Jesus, Another reason I want to get my puppet ministry going is because I also wanna try to make enough money and be able to afford to get married but also find a girl and win her over to know that I have money. I’m very picky with women and I just don’t know any woman that would wanna date an autistic unemployed man who was with his parents at least I have a science degree from a good college. I feel a lot like the duck and downhearted duckling cartoon. Please help me find somebody. I am photophobic. In Jesus Name Amen.

We come before the Lord with you in this request, lifting up your heart’s desires while also seeking God’s will and wisdom for your life. It is clear you long for marriage, and we affirm that this is a good and godly desire, as Scripture tells us in Genesis 2:18, *"It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him."* Marriage is a beautiful covenant designed by God, and we pray He prepares you for it in His perfect timing.

However, we must lovingly address a few concerns in your request that need alignment with biblical truth. First, the motivation to pursue ministry—or any work—for the primary purpose of gaining wealth to attract a spouse is misplaced. While it is wise to be financially responsible, Scripture warns against seeking riches as a means of securing love or approval. Proverbs 23:4-5 says, *"Don’t weary yourself to be rich. In your wisdom, show restraint. Why do you set your eyes on that which is not? For it certainly sprouts wings like an eagle and flies in the sky."* A godly woman will not be drawn to you because of your financial status, but because of your character, faith, and heart for the Lord. Proverbs 31:30 reminds us, *"Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised."* Seek first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33), and trust that He will provide all you need, including a spouse if it is His will.

Second, we gently rebuke the idea that your worth or eligibility for marriage is tied to your employment status, autism, or living situation. These are not disqualifiers in God’s eyes. He sees your heart, and He has a plan for you. Psalm 139:13-14 declares, *"For you formed my inwards parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."* Your value is found in Christ alone, not in worldly measures of success. The Lord often uses what the world considers "weak" to display His strength (2 Corinthians 12:9-10). Do not let insecurity or comparison rob you of the joy and purpose God has for you now.

We also encourage you to examine your statement about being "very picky with women." While it is wise to be discerning, especially as a believer seeking a godly spouse (2 Corinthians 6:14), we must guard against pride or unrealistic expectations. Love is not about finding someone who meets a checklist, but about two sinners committing to serve Christ together in humility and grace. Ephesians 5:25 calls husbands to *"love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."* This kind of love is sacrificial, not conditional. Pray that God would shape your heart to reflect His love, and ask Him to prepare you to be the kind of husband a godly woman would desire—one who leads with kindness, faith, and integrity.

Regarding your photophobia, we pray for God’s comfort and provision. Whether this is a physical or spiritual challenge, we ask the Lord to grant you strength and to open doors for you to serve Him in ways that accommodate your needs. Remember, Moses struggled with speech, yet God used him mightily (Exodus 4:10-12). Your limitations do not limit God.

As for your puppet ministry, we pray the Lord would guide and bless it—not as a means to earn a spouse, but as a way to glorify Him and share His truth. Colossians 3:23-24 says, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* If this ministry is truly from the Lord, He will provide the resources, opportunities, and growth in His timing. Seek His will above all else, and trust that He will align your desires with His purposes.

Finally, we notice you ended your prayer "in Jesus’ Name," and we commend you for this. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). We are grateful you acknowledge this truth, and we pray your faith in Him continues to grow.

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother to You, asking that You would meet him in his loneliness and longing. Lord, You know his heart’s desire for marriage, and we pray that if it is Your will, You would prepare a godly wife for him—a woman who loves You above all else and who will walk beside him in faith. But even more, we pray You would prepare *him* for marriage, shaping his heart to reflect Your love, patience, and selflessness. Remove any pride, fear, or worldly motivation from his pursuit of this desire, and replace it with a deep trust in Your sovereignty.

Father, we ask for Your provision in his life—financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Give him wisdom as he seeks to serve You through his puppet ministry, and let it be a light for Your glory, not a means to earn favor or approval. Open doors for him to use his gifts in ways that honor You, and provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Lord, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell him he is unworthy or unloveable because of his circumstances. Remind him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that You have a purpose for his life. Heal his heart from the pain of feeling overlooked or inadequate, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We pray for his photophobia, asking for Your healing touch or for creative ways to navigate this challenge so he can serve You fully. Give him strength and comfort, and let him know he is not alone.

Most of all, Father, draw him closer to You. Let his identity be rooted in Christ alone, not in marriage, ministry, or worldly success. Help him to seek You first, trusting that You will add all things to him as he delves deeper into Your word and Your will (Matthew 6:33).

We ask all this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Hey there,

We're right there with you, praying for God to move in your life. We're not here to judge or condemn, but to lift you up and encourage you in your journey.

First off, we want you to know that God sees your heart and He's got a plan for you. It's okay to feel lonely or down, but remember, you're never alone. God is always with you. He's the one who formed you, who knit you together in your mother's womb. You're fearfully and wonderfully made, just the way you are.

We hear your desire for marriage, and we believe that's a good thing. God created us for relationship, for companionship. But we want to remind you, as our brother in Christ, that God's timing is perfect. He's not rushing, and neither should you. Trust that He knows what's best for you.

Now, about finding someone who's willing to date an autistic, unemployed man with a science degree from a good college - we believe in you! But remember, it's not about what you have or don't have, it's about who you are in Christ. A godly woman will be drawn to your character, your faith, and your heart for the Lord. So, let's focus on growing in those areas, yeah?

And listen, it's okay to have standards, but let's make sure our standards are rooted in love, not pride. Let's pray that God would help us to be more like Him, more loving, more patient, more kind. Because that's the kind of person a godly woman would want to be with.

Lastly, about your photophobia, we're praying for you. We're asking God to either take it away or to give you the strength and creativity to navigate it. You're not defined by your challenges, but by how you respond to them.

Keep seeking God, keep trusting Him. He's got this. And we're right here with you, praying and believing with you.

In Jesus' Name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
