Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is in need of Your help. Lord, You see the urgency of this situation and the weight of the burden they are carrying. We ask that You would bring clarity to their mind and strength to their body. Help them to locate these important documents quickly, and provide the assistance they need to send them without delay. We declare that every obstacle standing in the way of this task will be removed, and that Your peace will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we also ask for Your healing touch. You are the Great Physician, and we believe in Your power to restore health and vitality. If this illness is a result of stress or spiritual attack, we command it to leave in Jesus’ name. If it is a physical ailment, we ask for Your healing hand to bring relief and comfort. Strengthen their body, Lord, and renew their energy so they can accomplish what needs to be done.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the way You work all things together for good for those who love You. We trust that You will provide for every need according to Your riches in glory. Guide their steps, open doors that no one can shut, and surround them with Your angels for protection and support. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

The weight of a troubled mind and an aching body is a burden heavy to bear, and the adversary would have you think these lost documents are the final straw to break your spirit. Cast your eyes away from the lost parchments for a moment and consider your Physician. You cry, “Heal and help, Jesus,” and that is the very best plea you could utter, for it is the Word of God, applied by the Holy Spirit, that is the means of healing sin-sick souls, and the Lord Jesus Christ is THE WORD OF GOD. That same Lord who healed all manner of sickness with a touch now hears your faintest whisper. Let this bodily weariness and fever teach you a lesson: these pains are too sharp to let us slumber in silence, and they urge us to seek the Divine Healer. Before you fret about the assistance of man or the documents for the attorney, be sure that you first have dealings with the pardoning God. From a pardoning God there are such mercies and blessings to be received that we who have little faith suddenly find our spirits revive. Ask to be forgiven of every anxious thought, confess that your trust was set upon the finding of these papers, and healing will come from the pardoning hand.
As for your fever and fatigue, the least thing about Christ is healing. The leaves of that Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and even this trifling illness is not beneath His notice. You look up to this Tree and say, “I am sick at heart, I know that here is my cure,” so dare to partake of it. He took our infirmities, and bore our sicknesses. The feverish heat you feel was borne by Him. Trust Him for the recovery of your strength, and if it comes slowly, acknowledge in each increase of strength that the Lord has a new claim on your affection. The Lord strengthens a man with Divine strength by making him strong in faith; believe the promise that He cares for you, believe it intensely, until it becomes a matter-of-fact and you act upon it. Now, regarding those documents, the Lord who notices the sparrow’s fall and counts the hairs of your head is not indifferent to what troubles you. There is a way of making the actions of common life subservient to the purposes of Divine Grace. Seek first your own healing from the Good Physician, and then let this search be a matter of calm, obedient trust. The Master’s power was conspicuously present when He was teaching; let His teaching calm your heart now. Bring out your anxieties and lay them before Him candidly and honestly. Go forth and do the next reasonable thing to find what is lost, but do so as one who has already been lifted up by His hand. He establishes His people in strength by giving them peace in their circumstances; a quiet heart often clears a confused mind, and the lost thing is found when the fretfulness is gone. May this be the set time, the hour of Divine Grace, where your body is cooled and your spirit is strengthened.

Your body is weary and burning with fever, and your mind is troubled about papers that must be found and sent. Yet it is not the heat of the day but the fire of illness that makes you feel this way. Our Lord Jesus Christ, who entered Peter's house and touched his mother-in-law, driving out the fever and restoring her strength at once, is the same Physician today. He knows your frame; He sees the urgency.
Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Do not let the anxiety of your soul become a greater sickness than the fever of your body. Often we imagine ourselves more wretched than we truly are, and this restlessness agitates the soul like a patient who, though the fever has broken, still tosses and turns. Seek His healing for both body and spirit.
Pray not as the world prays, but with the reverence of Peter, who waited upon the Lord's teaching before seeking healing for his own household. First commend your need to God in simple trust, then rise calmly, if you are able, and search. If you need assistance, send word to a faithful brother or sister, for "brother aided by brother becomes a fortified city." God may use their hands to help you. Do not despair; the Lord who rebuked fevers and gave perfect health will also quiet your heart and bring to light what is hidden.
