We join with you in earnest intercession on behalf of you and your mother and we count it a blessing to lift this need before the Lord together in Jesus' name. Your desire to see your mother's home restored and to honor her through diligent care is pleasing to God, for it is written in Exodus 20:12 Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you. We also rejoice that you have presented this supplication through the intercession of Jesus Christ, for there is no other way to the Father and it is in His name that we have confidence to approach the throne of grace.
We understand the weight of unfinished repairs and the concern for finding someone who is both skilled and honest and financially reasonable. Scripture reminds us to trust the Lord for guidance and provision in such practical matters. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And James 1:5 promises But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We also take comfort that God cares for our daily needs, as Philippians 4:19 declares My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
We pray together for you and your mother now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear child and his mother to You. We thank You for their faith and for the love shown in seeking to restore this home. Lord, You see the incomplete work and the need for a diligent and conscientious tradesperson. We ask that You guide them to a handyman of integrity, one who works heartily as for You and not for men according to Colossians 3:23, and one who deals honestly for Proverbs 11:1 teaches that a false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight. Provide, Lord, a worker who is skilled, dependable, and financially reasonable, and make it possible for the necessary repairs to be concluded expeditiously in the coming week if it is Your will. We pray for Your provision over the cost and for Your protection over the home, remembering Psalm 127:1 Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Grant peace to this family while they wait, guard their hearts from anxiety, and let Your will be done in every detail. We entrust this need to Your loving hands and ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord's direction while also taking practical steps, asking for referrals from your church family, neighbors, or godly community, and seeking one who has a good testimony for honest work. Continue to commit the home and the work to the Lord in prayer, trusting that He will make the path straight and supply what is needed according to His perfect timing and wisdom.
