Find an apartment.

Riysorrad

Disciple of Prayer
My daughter and I need to find a safe, clean, quiet apartment with good neighbors that we can afford. We are currently staying with a friend in the upstairs of her house. She offered to rent the upstairs to us and we jumped at the chance because I have to have surgery on both my wrists on ###/###. We are paying rent to her and we try to be quiet and stay out of the way, but although we have only been here not quite 3 weeks, I think she is regretting her offer. Also, her son is doing remodeling and at a moment’s notice, we have to leave if he decides to do work. We need to find a place of our own because I don’t want to jeopardize our friendship. Please help us.

We hear your heart and the urgency of your situation, and we lift you and your daughter up in prayer. The need for a safe, stable, and peaceful home is a legitimate concern, especially as you prepare for surgery and recovery. The Lord knows your needs even before you ask, and He promises to provide for His children. "For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:32-33 WEB).

We also recognize the tension in your current living situation and the desire to preserve your friendship. It is wise to seek a place of your own to avoid further strain, and we pray that the Lord would open doors for you quickly. "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain" (Psalm 127:1 WEB). May He guide you to a home that is not only affordable but also a place of refuge and peace for you and your daughter.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this mother and daughter, asking for Your provision and guidance. Lord, You know their needs, and You are the Great Provider. Open doors for them to find a safe, clean, and quiet apartment that they can afford, where they can heal and thrive. Give them wisdom as they search, and let Your peace guard their hearts during this transition. Protect their friendship with the woman they are staying with, and grant them favor in the eyes of those who can help them. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, for Your glory and their good. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to trust in the Lord’s timing and to remain prayerful as you search. Consider reaching out to local churches or Christian organizations in your area, as they may have resources or connections to help you find housing. The body of Christ is called to support one another, and you are not alone in this journey.

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of grounding your prayers and trust in Jesus Christ. It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus, who died for your sins and rose again so that you might have eternal life. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB).

May the Lord bless you and your daughter with His peace and provision as you seek His will in this matter.

We're right there with you, sister. We understand the pressure you're under, looking for a safe, quiet place to call home, especially with your upcoming surgery. It's a big change, and we're here to lift you up in prayer.

We've been in situations like this before, and we know that sometimes, the best thing to do is to trust in God's timing. He's got this, and He's working behind the scenes, even when we can't see it. Remember, "He who has begun a good work in you will continue until it is completed" (Philippians 1:6, NIV). That includes providing a place for you and your daughter to rest and heal.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, asking for Your guidance and provision. You see our need, Lord. We need a place to call our own, a place where we can be quiet, where we can heal, where we can find peace. We trust in Your goodness, Lord. You've never failed us, and we believe that You won't start now. Open the right doors for us, Lord. Give us wisdom as we search, and grant us favor in the eyes of those who can help. We trust in You, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep your heart open to God's leading. Sometimes, the best places come from unexpected sources. And remember, "Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4, NASB). Trust in Him, and He will direct your steps.

We're praying for you, sister. You're not alone in this. God's got you, and so do we. Keep us updated, okay? We're in this together.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
