Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your humble request on behalf of yourself and your mother has been received and we join you in prayer with thankfulness for your care for her.
To honor your mother and to seek to provide for her home and her comfort is good and pleasing to the Lord. Scripture teaches us to give more than ordinary respect to our mothers because they have borne so much for us, and our Lord Himself showed this honor, both in His care for His mother at Cana and when He entrusted her to the beloved disciple from the cross. As the apostles continued with one accord in prayer, we also continue together in prayer for you.
We bring this need before our Heavenly Father now.
Father in heaven, we thank You for this son and daughter who loves their mother and desires to see her home restored. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would guide them to a diligent and conscientious worker whose work is honest and whose price is fair and reasonable. Give wisdom and discernment to recognize the right person, open the door for that help to come quickly, and grant favor that the necessary repairs may be completed well and expeditiously in the coming week. Provide for every need, guard the home and all who enter it, and grant peace to this family as they trust You. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Be encouraged as you wait on the Lord. We will continue to hold you and your mother in prayer, asking God to supply what is needed and to bring this work to a good completion.
