We understand the burden of incomplete repairs and the desire for a trustworthy and skilled worker. We pray that the Lord will guide your steps and provide for this need according to His perfect wisdom and timing. We are reminded in Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And in Philippians 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. It is a good and needful work to care for a mother's dwelling, for our Lord Himself began His mission at home among the lost sheep of the house of Israel, and when Jerusalem was rebuilt every man built before his own house. To seek to set in order the home that has sheltered you is itself a service unto the Lord, and He who went about doing good delights to see such honour shown to a parent.
We will pray that the Lord, who is the great Provider for His people, will in His providence guide you to a tradesman who is diligent in his labour, conscientious in his craft, and fair in his charges. We will ask that the Lord will open a door for one whose hands are skillful and whose word can be trusted, and that He will order the time so that what remains incomplete may be brought to a good and expeditious conclusion within this coming week, if it be His will.
